(I don't know which broadcaster said that. I wish I knew.)
Ok, it's Bill Schonely. I wish I had audio of any game he said that.
Rudy Gobert is shooting 58% this year, which to me, is a big departure from 68% and 65%, of the previous two years.
Russell Westbrook, an eighty-one % career shooter, is shooting 61%.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, a career 74% shooter, is shooting 68%. That might not seem too far off. But the thing is, he's averaging a career high 9.0 free throw attempts per game. So due to the volume of attempts he gets, he's even farther off from his career mark, then if he were taking a lesser volume. If he were taking a lesser volume, it might only take a few games to get to his career average. But because he's attempting so many, it will take even longer for him to improve enough to get to his career average.
These guys are killing me with their bricks.
