It sure looks like the Sox are trying to replace Leury Garcia if they are interested in Nicky Lopez as a utility guy. The Sox already signed Jake Marisnick to a minor league deal and he can play all outfield spots.

I didn't realize how much Clevinger figured into the Trevor Baur darkness, but the Sox should have a little more due diligence than asking Katz if he can help the guy throw pitches.

For those counting - Top trade pick Hendriks and new starting pitcher Clevinger combine for a $26 Million dollar bonfire of salary for this season.

Naturally, very excited to see Montgomery and Colas, altho both were expected to be invited. Not too surprised that Matt Thompson gets a look-see, been curious to what he brings to the table. But no Jared Kelley?

Also good to see fan fave Billy Hamilton potentially back in the mix, at least enough to get invited. Hope he has a solid Spring. We could use his defense and speed, not to mention as team cheerleader from the pine.
