Saunders has now gotten his ERA down to 3.60 and this game could easily have been tied in the 9th. Maybe better...........but it is what it is.

Murphy couldn't have hit home plate with his helmet today.

Perhaps....my problem is with all this "clear" evidence which is suppose to be presented in overturning calls is, many times one replay looks this, another looks that. It's far from being clear IMO.

I know someone in marketing with the Rangers and it's already being acknowledged. Advance sales are struggling. I understand it.

And just think....it's just now starting to get hot. This could be a really tough year for the Rangers both on the field and in attendance. They do normally go - at least somewhat - hand-n-hand.

I'm honestly not bitching so much about Murphy as I am lamenting our overall situation.

Poor guy has never played 1st base in his life and "here's ya mitt." And you're right; he's a .220 type hitter, plays decent defense (when at a position he knows how to play) and is a good role player. Nothing more or less. But we're so struggling just to keep 9 guys on the diamond, we're putting guys in positions their abilities would have never warranted.
