Martin will never take the next step in his game until he learns to lay off the pitch that's unhittable down and in. He has to make the pitcher throw it over the plate where he can get his arms extended.

I'm making it official for me: Done with MM.

I've defended him, liked him and still believe he can have a productive season or two for someone. But it can't be with the Rangers.

A big part of succeeding is playing, and he can't stay on the filed no matter what. Last year was his most games played, 147, and he looked awful after he came back from the injury around the AS game. His next highest year is 134.

If I'm not mistaken this is 5 straight seasons where he's spent time on the DL. Done I tell ya.

Makes me crazy to count on someone year after year, and yet they are always hurt.

I'm afraid it's gotten to the point he's untradeable. Have to give him away. Was hopping for a good year from him just for stock value.

Just wondering: what do you consider a decent sample size for Odor/Sardinas - from an AB standpoint - to get a good feel for what they can do on the ML level?

Choice seemed like he was starting to get in a little groove so what did Wash do? He sticks him in the lead-off spot. I don't think him or Choo have a hit since Wash made the move.

thanks.....I was thinking about the same, maybe a little higher - like 250+. Not sure there's a definitive number here.

In any case, I'd like to see both Odor and Sardinas get to the acceptable level this season so we can properly evaluate our options at seasons end.
