Arizona beat the hawks at home ...so they are the better team.. Right?
On that day...yes. Seattle probably wins that game 9 out of 10 times.

Apparently, I'm the first sports fan in history to be glad to see a hated rival lose?
No, but you're calling them frauds when your team was the biggest fraud in recent memory and you're pretending that you weren't surprised they got rocked.
I'm always said:a New England team missing a ton of key players due to injuries
Not trying to goad anyone into anything. Most donkey fans are probably still in hiding anyway. I'm just pointing out that Manning set all those records playing against bad defenses and in an era that completely favors the offense relative to the rules. And that he is pretty much average at best when the conditions are less that perfect. And frankly the whole Manning vs Brady thing is laughable. Joe Montana never lost a Super Bowl. He's the GOAT. Though I would take Brady over Manning in a heartbeat. What NE accomplished this season given all of the devastating injuries they suffered is remarkable.
Not a fraud....I agree, just fucked up at the worst time. Would any AFC team have done better? I'm positive. The Broncos came with nothing to the SB. The SOS will have the AFC west hurting for sure but letting some AFC teams climb up and be in the running for the SB once again...this all goes in cycles...no team IMO will ever win a back-to-back SB again.Actually, Denver wasn't a fraud at all, they were the best team in the AFC, the problem was that the top teams in the NFC was just much better this year and the SB proved that. Next year, the AFC West plays the NFC West and I doubt any of them are looking forward to playing SF, SEA, STL and ARZ at all.

Stats man.
4 losses = NFW on the best ever argument.

The donkeys were never all that they were made out to be. They merely benefited from playing a schedule full of pathetic defenses. In the few regular season games where they played even a mediocre defense, they were not dominant. And in fact, the only reason they were even able to make it to the Superbowl is because of freakishly good weather in Denver during their two home playoff games. Combine that with playing a San Diego team that lucked into the playoffs and a New England team missing a ton of key players due to injuries, the donks never really had a chance against a battle tested Seattle team. Reality will continue to hit Manning and the donkeys next season too.
best offensive production doesn't need to lead to best record. They were still statistically the best offense.
Agree, anybody playing the NFC west can just mark out those games as losses right now.
Best regular season production? Sure. Best offense in the history of the league? NFW.
