The Chiefs were frauds during the first half of the season. i already admitted to that. But the biggest frauds in recent memory? That's way out there. The donkeys rode their fraud all the way to the Super Bowl. I'd say that makes them by far the bigger fraud. And I wasn't surprised that Seattle destroyed them. The only Super Bowls the donkeys haven't been blown out in were the ones where they had to cheat the salary cap to win.

Wow that makes sense but yet you defend the Patriots who havent won a SuperBowl since spygate. They won there SuperBowls cheating but hats not mentioned by you. You complain about the Patriots injuries and Denver had as many as well. You are all over on this thread that you dont even know WTF you are saying anymore. :L Like I said get laid or put a bullet in your head.:suds:

When you have Seattle fans admitting they werent a fraud but yet a loser Chiefs fan that is bitter that sure shows how desperate the O.P. is for attention. The Seahwaks played great. Give them credit. It seems like most Seahwaks fans seem pretty cool on these messageboards. For the O.P. did your parents ever give you a hug or do you need me to get you a hooker?

Denver was not frauds, the Seattle D is just that good.

Listen to what Aaron Rodgers said today.

“With all due respect, I don’t think it’s possible to play at that kind of level for many other teams in this league, if any,” Rodgers said. “That’s a talented group. I don’t think that should be our goal. We do need to improve on both sides of the ball, but that team has a unique mixture of secondary talent that’s as good a group in the league as you can see, and then a front seven that really plays well together. It should be maybe the standard we’re going for, but it might be a little unrealistic to think of any defense being as good as that for the next couple years.”

Trying to mimic the team the Seahawks put on the field will be difficult, but there’s definitely something for teams to gain by seeing how the roster was put together.

As we pointed out just after the Seahawks beat the Broncos, their victory was a testament to the way General Manager John Schneider and coach Pete Carroll have identified and acquired talented players in every possible way and developed many relatively unheralded players into key performers. It’s not easy to pull off, but every team should be trying to put together a personnel department and coaching staff that can give them their own version of what the Seahawks have built.

Aaron Rodgers: ?Unrealistic? to use Seahawks as goal for defense | ProFootballTalk

Fact is Denver got hit with Seattle hitting on all cylinders and the Bronco's did not play a D like Seattle all year,,,they never knew what hit em.

The Seattle D was built to beat that Denver O. And Denver's O is all they had going for them. The end result shouldn't be all that surprising. But Denver isn't a fraud either. Just not built to beat the Seahawks

Agree, anybody playing the NFC west can just mark out those games as losses right now.

Hell, why play the games? Just let the NFCW play each other and call that the playoffs. Fuck all the other teams in the NFL. I mean, nothing changes from season to season.

Just out of curiosity, how good is Bennett? The chatter all over Chicago sports radio is that he will be a Bear next season.

Any team that makes the playoff's has a chance geezer is just being over the top i assume is because he is still feeling the SB high.

Damn good,he and Avril addressed our pass rush that we lacked big time against the Falcons last year in the playoff's.

One thing though our secondary makes any QB spend more time trying to find an open WR.

Manning is HOF.
Seattle just brought the BEST D EVER.

The plan they had for the SB WAS OUTSTANDING.
Give the HAWKS credit.

Time will tell just how good they are.

Check the film and see the DL drop and cover the TE.

BEST D EVER. Dominated the NFL 's best statistical offense ever.

Dont want to beat a dead horse but spygate started in first game of 07. The memo came out before the 07 season on where the filming could be done. I could say something stupid like Broncos havent won anything since cheating with the salary cap. See how stupid that sounds, grow a pair

The donkeys were never all that they were made out to be. They merely benefited from playing a schedule full of pathetic defenses. In the few regular season games where they played even a mediocre defense, they were not dominant. And in fact, the only reason they were even able to make it to the Superbowl is because of freakishly good weather in Denver during their two home playoff games. Combine that with playing a San Diego team that lucked into the playoffs and a New England team missing a ton of key players due to injuries, the donks never really had a chance against a battle tested Seattle team. Reality will continue to hit Manning and the donkeys next season too.

If I hear one more person say the Chargers "lucked into the playoffs" or didn't deserve to be there I'm going to scream. Tell me one team that deserved it more and why.

As for Denver, they were too one dimensional. You need all 3 phases and they were great in one phase, average and below average in the other two. Seattle and SF are the most complete teams in football. I'm not even sure Denver would be 3rd best in the NFC.

If anything their SB result was more a statement of just how bad the AFC is right now. If Manning and Brady retired tomorrow you could make an argument that there are 7 or 8 NFC teams better than anyone in the AFC. It's cyclical though. The AFC will eventually be back. There are a handful that could even compete for a SB if they make some drastic improvements in only one phase of the game this offseason.

The broncos were clearly the best team in the afc this season. That's nothing to sneeze at. The nfc was better this year. That's not the broncos fault.

I would agree with that. To counter a bit, Seattle had a much tougher opponent in their game than the Bears had in their Super Bowl in 86.

Small sticks though. A fun game to speculate about would be the 85 Bears vs the 13 Seahawks.
It would probably end up with a final score of 2-3 but I'm not sure which team got the safety and which was got close enough to kick a FG.:yahoo:

Apparently, I'm the first sports fan in history to be glad to see a hated rival lose? But more then even that, I'm a huge Russel Wilson and Richard Sherman fan. Though I'm hoping both of them leave KC next season with their butts in their hands.

No, everyone understand a rival getting joy out of a loss. However making the blanket statement that this means they were a total fraud is another matter.

That SB was the perfect storm. Seattle hadn't played that complete of a game all year. Sure, they had over 100y of penalties which is normal for them with their physical style, but outside of that they really didn't make any mistakes in any phase of the game. They all stepped up on the biggest stage and performed.

The Broncos on the other hand did not stay as focused and inside of their game and it showed. From not using a silent count to open because they didn't think there would be crowd noise to not tackling that well in space to not protecting the ball while running with it.

This game didn't tell us they were a fraud at all. It didn't say that Manning choked and lost the game by himself either. It said that on that day one team came ready to play and their players rose above the moment and managed to stay in their fundamentals and execute their plays better than the other one. It says nothing about how they performed in the regular season. They are unrelated. Clearly they prepared better for those games and played far more up to their potential.

1.100 yrds in penalties isn't making many mistakes?

2. that doesn't seem a tad bit fishy somehow ?

aside from that, yes I'm sick of the childish blasting of a team because they lost a Super Bowl..that's what you do in 8th grade on the playground
