He only has to extend plays because he waited so long to make a decision. Brady or manning on Seattle would be undefeated and averaging a 20+ margin .

I have liked Russell Wilson from day one, but things are getting carried away. There are 25 other QB's who could have won the Super Bowl playing for Seattle this year

Your line deserves way more credit than you guys give it. Wilson holds the ball for days a la Big Ben, because he doesn't have the skill set to get the ball out quickly.

Brady and manning aren't sacked as often because the ball is out of their hands before the rush can get there, not because they have some massively better lines.

Is there any subject you actually have experience with? So far I'd check off politics and football on your list of not so much.

Seattle's line the last two years has been pedestrian at best, and down right terrible at times when it comes to pass blocking. A couple of them are decent at run blocking while being horrible in the passing game. They were acceptable because this is a run happy team, but how can anyone actually watch a Seahawks game and say that line is good?

Wilson often has to create a play out of a broken one because he is forced from the pocket before he can drop back and/or his receivers failed to get any separation. Anyone who doesn't see both of those isn't watching or doesn't know what the hell they are looking at. PERIOD.

Now, no one will deny Wilson sometimes hasn't seen open receivers. His height does lead to maybe a few more of these than every QB already has. However, this is not the norm on every play. When he has had time in the pocket he has proven he can stand back there and throw. It's just that happened against maybe 2 or 3 defenses last year? That's just how bad that line was.

You can't have success behind a line like that unless you can be great on the run. I'd argue that Rodgers (if he can remain healthy) would be just as good as Wilson in this offense and probably better given his experience. It doesn't take a runner like Newton or Kaepernick, it just takes someone that can avoid the rush and keep looking down field for someone open and deliver a ball on the run. None of those top flight QB's does that better than Rodgers IMO. Wilson does an outstanding job, but because of his inexperience even he will tell you he has more room for growth. His potential is extremely high.

I'm right and you know I'm right. Your line isn't "horrible". They just can't block for five minutes a play like Wilson makes them.

You're blaming the line for part of who your QB is.

Not to be a prick, but I 100 % agree with UK, I thought Russell was a great pick and if played could be a good QB just cause of his attitude.

For one year? Every GM in the league, without a second of hesitation.[/QUO
Again you try to speak as a know it all.
We made Manning look like an old washed up QB in the SB.
Remember the perfect pass RW threw to Rice to come from behind and beat the Pats in the "You mad bro?" game?
There is no way I would trade RW for either Manning or Brady. He is a perfect fit for Seattle.

RGIII > Rubble Wilson

Almost forgot; "and it's not even close."

Ahh nope. Wilson made just about every 3rd down and long throw in SB and all were on target and bullets.

RG3 and Colin in same league

Uh, better at what?

Wilson keeps what his father told him as a kid burning in him " Why not you" with that chip on his shoulder like Tom Brady who wasnt drafted high. RG3 is a grown man who has father has to defend and coddle

Nobody that watched Seattle last year would say that. We all understand the ideas of getting the ball out quickly, but the interior of seattles line was blown up on almost every passing play.

Watch the Seahawks sometime, JDM. You talk about them enough as if you do.

The redskins cannot be successful without turning over their roster.

Holding the front office responsible for being a fucking joke is part of leadership.

Yep. Nothing is Brady's fault. Nothing is RG3's fault.

Just a little lighthearted trolling. I thought the "Rubble Wilson" part of it made that obvious. Wilson is a good young QB and has obviously faired better than Bobby. I don't like either one of them personally but Wilson has been much smarter and had the better early career. I have both of them as fringe top 10 QB's but that will probably change in the next two years. At least for Wilson. Griffin might not even be in the league or a starter if he doesn't figure out that he's no longer in the Big 12, and begins to protect himself a lot better.

Nobody is making excuses for Brady he gets the most done with whatever he has. Best reg season winning pct at almost .800 in SB era and most playoff wins and best td/int ratio No excuses. RG3 is another story

I wouldnt say "nobody". JDM is making excuses for Bradys year last year. It was still a very good year, but it wasnt up to his standards and IMO Wilson was better. JDM blames it on his WRs. And even convinced himself that seattles oline was good to make himself feel better.

Ahh gotcha It was frustrating when you lose your top 5 receivers from the previous year and your no#1 receiver was a kick off specialist, but injuries and FA happens to every team. So happy to end up 12-4 and 8-0 at home to make it to AFCG. Need to get over that hump, hopefully before he retires. I cant comment of your O-line because didnt watch enough games. Told people before the season started that Seattle would win the SB, scary fast defense. Almost as good as the 85 bears but quicker
