i don't expect anything from Duggar and i was already expecting Culberson and maybe even Miller to be gone by trade deadline anyway and possibly even Taveras

part of me wants to Smith and Duran get max playing time but Smith kind of looked lost out in LF his 1 game. he was worried about someone hitting it over his head and played way to deep. he should get some time in AAA playing LF but i don't want him sent down at the same time

He did cut his strikeout to walk ratio from last year to this year.

I thought he looked good out there. A lot of times someone in the dugout tells them where to play.

In the interview with Woody, he said Beasley had no discomfort with Josh in LF and yes they told him where to play untill he became comfortable.

Looking at the averages of the batters and I get the ire for such low averages today vs decades ago.
When I was young you were not considered a top level hitter unless you hit 300. And you usually had at least 2 on your team and a few others within shouting distance. And I remember when they had to lower the mound because the pitchers still dominated. Of course the velocity has to have increased a lot.

No big deal. Just obvious the game has changed
