Dugger is not worth much of anything as a MLB player. So, we basically got nothing for Willie. As bad as Willie has been, he will have a better future in the league than Dugger, which isn't saying a whole lot. .Willie will play in a lot more games than Dugger will in the future.

Willie was causing issues in the minors and the Rangers wanted him gone. if the Giants hadn't offered, we would have released him within the next few weeks anyway. we pick up Duggar, give him a week or so, DFA him and drop him
