We @ State MUST live with the fact that we lost to, not 1, BUT 2 FCS schools. I hear that stuff constantly around here. I just L@@K @ the standings there after.

Point is, in reply to this poster, "In a PERFECT WORLD perhaps."

Losing to FCS or terrible FBS schools falls under the special "LOL YOU LOST TO WHO?" clause, which you will find in Appendix C of your fan handbook. Dagger twisting is allowed when a loss is so bad it reflects poorly on the entire conference.

There is a caveat to that to, which is that if you lose to North Dakota State, the opposing fans must instead just question your AD's sanity for even scheduling the game.

Let's call it the "BOUNTY HUNTER INCENTIVE PLAN" based on winning EACH of his next 7 games.



STANFORD--->$100K/YEAR..Top10 club beatings are worth EXTRA cash/year

USC--->$85K/YEAR...Still a Top Team in the Pac in my mind and a win here helps Riley's wallet, as it should.

ASU--->$50K/YEAR...Tough road game, but he "CAN DO IT"...bonus, but NOT a penalty for an "L".

WASHINGTON--->$100K/YEAR...Keep the boot on these boy's throat and don't let em up for any air. North Division foe win earns extra milage points here also.

OREGON--->$350K/YEAR...Road game that probably knocks the Ducks outta the NC game and propels the Beavers to the ROSE IF they win all 5 games listed here.

PAC CHAMP GAME @ RESER----> $250K/year...IF they got this far, they will win THIS game too against whoever.

ROSE BOWL WIN--->$2MIL over the life of his new contract plus above base incentives paid in full upon his leaving.

Well Coach Riley.."How you feeling about THIS plan?"

IF NOT...Hell ok, we'll just give ya and extra mil a year anywhoze!

That I agree with. If Mike Leach makes a little under a million a win Riley should get a huge raise, at least he has accomplished something as a HC and runs a program the way it should be run.

You really only get a 24 hour period of trash talk after a game, unless a fan of the team you've beaten says/writes something that should elicit more smack talk.

For example, if Saturday night you'd written, "Man, it feels good to destroy Washington after all the BS we heard this week. They suck and we're awesome." that would be fine. Saying it on Thursday, not so much.

However, if a Washington fan said something like, "We just had a bad game, we're still probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the conference. Everything just snowballed. We win that more often than not," you would then be allowed to briefly talk more shit to them. That is how it goes. There's a code. You don't get to dwell on a game and bring it up repeatedly until the offseason when there isn't shit else to talk about.

And if you absolutely, positively -must- say something, keep it subtle. Like:

They had such high hopes. All to be torn away by 2 ass kickins.

And next year they wont be as good.

Reality is setting in and most of the UW fans are very angry.

I honestly dont know what they saw pre season that the rest of us didnt. But yet again, the fanbase duped me into believing they were legit. Its going to be a very very very long time til they beat Oregon. And that is just fine by me.

Well you gotta figure after Mariota leaves they are going to go back to running the shit outta the ball, even though looking at the rushing numbers this year you would never know Oregon is slinging it around more.

But with the RBs Oregon will have in Tyner, Freeman, and that kid that just verbaled from Florida that runs a 4.3 flat..... Holy shit, that is a ridiculous core of RBs.

This year the Ducks are flirting with 3 players with 1000 yards on the ground.. And they are throwing it more than ever. Scary.

That's how I felt about our program after 2011. We hit rock bottom during the coaching search. Maybe Graham takes us back to the Rose Bowl, maybe he doesn't but for the first time in forever I can feel confident saying if we lose it will be because a better team beat us, not because we beat ourselves. I think it's time for Washington to part ways with Sark. Take away some of those dumb penalties they had and who knows, it could have been a completely different game.
