Too damn early to talk about hoops.

Nobody got time for that.

But for real though, I used to like basketball. I played one year of small college ball.

Always have started following CBB after the bowl games. NBA, tune in occasionally.

Just isnt the same. The college product is terrible compared to what it was with all the stars in the sport being one and dones.

And the NBA is just kind of boring nowdays til playoff time.

Well yeah. College bball >>>>> NBA

You really should pay attention to your Ducks bball team. They are pretty decent.

Uofa will probably be good at basketball, but it's annoying with all the wait till basketball season crap it's to early other schools in the conference are tired of hearing it. You also said Marshall and Mckissic suck Asu basketball fans can't say anything?

I never said Marshall and McKissic suck (Who is Mckisic?) I just said Marshall is a ball hog that shot less than 40% at Penn St. At least U of A has an identity. All ASU is known for is women and parties.

Tell me what attracts football players more (except money).

MAMBA'S PREDICTIONS

eric_cartman.gif

Vitamike: go back a few pages and see if you think White Mamba's predictions re Oregon v. UCLA are not very similar to what White Mamba predicted that UW would do to ASU just last week. How close was he then??

Are you guys serious when you say you don't follow college basketball? Just curious to as to why? You really think college football is that much better? Or do you just not like the sport of basketball?

I try to watch all the ASU games but college basketball doesn't even come close to football for me. Maybe if we had a better program I'd care more.

To me March Madness doesn't even come close to bowl season. Hell, I care more about the College World Series.

39% with a slow system and no front court. Look at Jermaine he also had 10 assists in a game for a 2 guard and can play good defense. Much much better than Evan Gordon, and now that he has Jahii he won't be shooting under 40% I'm guessing that's a reason he transferred because defenses paid to much attention to him. Mckissic had 33 points in the Maroon and Gold Scrimmage and also proved he's one of the best Dunkers in the conference. Jermaine isn't garbage and you will see soon enough. Gilling sucks too right?

They had one of the most exciting teams last year. Sure they went 9-9 in the conference but every game was a nail bitter and would involve a late comeback. One of the reasons was Evan Gordon his inconsistency was a reason we didn't make the tourney blame him for the USC and UCLA loss. The one thing I like about Sendek is his teams never give up.

Football > > > > > > > > Basketball in general. I loosely follow college basketball, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch a game. Most games end up decided in the last 5 minutes and those that aren't probably weren't worth watching. Football is so much more interesting and every game is dire in terms of consequence.

Were all use to cat fans bringing up basketball during football season right? Were all tired of it.

Do we not this year? What is so special about UA Nick Johnson shooting 2/10 at the red and blue scrim? Your lack of 3pt shooters?

No ASU does not have a legit squad. Sure you have a good squad compared to most years but you are still predicted to come in 7th in the conference. About the only bragging point you have is Jahii Carson. And if you take stats from the red blue game seriously you might as well take stats from the NBA all star game seriously.

Predictions matter? Oh okay who ever said that most of not known we have the point guard in the nation who dominated more than anyone as a freshmen and has developed a 3pt shot, he's improved his passing, and he's stronger. Bach is the best shot blocker in the nation. Along with Jermaine who fills in for the cancer Evan Gordon. Gilling who's one of the better spot up shooters. Are these the same people who said Aaron Gordon could win PAC 12 player of the year over Jahii? :laugh3:

The only reason people weren't going after Mckissic because he only has 1 year left he had some solid programs. But teams weren't interested when they learned about his personal problems and what he's gone through. He's the biggest JC steal this year the kid can score and is a perfect fit for our system I think he has more offense than Felix, but take away the defense that is what Kearney's for.

If ASU can't even make the dance and Gordon is a key piece to Arizona making a deep run in March sure Aaron Gordon should win over Jahii.

They will show up and play hard. But they are just totally over matched. The timing is perfect for Oregon and terrible for UCLA.

Deep down, most UCLA fans and the team knows what is in store Saturday.
It's a football game and a lot of things can happen. As I recall MM put the rock on the carpet a couple of times last week (In only 3 quarters, right?). He better not be so cavalier against this young and gambling Bruins defense!

Mamba comes back this week too and returns to the lineup aren't always smooth sailing either.

One thing I know for sure, if we are to compete, we can not continue to make dead ball penalties or non aggressive penalties that have plagued us all year.

Now I'm under no illusions WM and I'm fully aware of the 3 TD+ point spread however, this isn't your Daddy's Bruins and we are a ranked PAC12 team.

That means something.

To me it means we have a legit shot at the upset like any other ranked PAC team and considering who you guys have played so far, one can argue y'all haven't been tested yet.

Lets see the best you've played @ Washington (4-3) and you got Tennessee (4-3) in Autzen!

That it!!

Everybody else is under .500.:laugh3:

At least my Bruins can boast a road win over current No. 24 Nebraska (5-1) As well as a split of road games with teams over .500, {No. 6 Stanford (6-0) and Utah (4-3)}.

As I recall, you guys have faltered in recent years to past ranked PAC teams, right?

2012 No. 2 Oregon loses to No. 13 Stanford ~ Thus losing a sure NT shot.
2011 No. 4 Oregon loses to No. 18 USC ~ Thus losing a chance to move into the No. 2 spot. (Sound familiar?)
2009 No. 8 Oregon loses to Unranked Stanford ~ Thus losing a bid in the NT game.

Y'all were favored in all of those games, as a matter of fact 2 of those three were home losses!!

Again I am fully aware of the pecking order around here but there is a reason why they played those games listed above. So I'll just sit back and if we get beat down, so be it. However it's just that 'beat down' attitude I'm thinking that bit them in the arse in years past may repeat itself and you know mamba, I'd be lying if I didn't say I'd love to add this years Bruins to that list of heartache you got going there.

Predictions suck. The 2009-2010 Sun Devils were suppose to finish 11th in the conference they ended up finishing 2nd. Evan Gordon fucking sucked do you not understand? Marshall is 10x better and do you understand Mckissic just scored 33 points in a scrimmage? You need a spot up shorter for lane room and for your offense to flow losing Solo hurts.
