The game in Arlington was officially a home game for ND so we have 5 road games. If the A&M deal goes through we'll only have 5 home games in 2015 so it evens out.

Okay I actually counted it both way and didn't even realize it!

Still doesn't change the fact that y'all have had 5 games at home in your first 7 and still one of those roadies wasn't at your opponent's house! (South Bend)

I'm not sure on the exact number. Officially we have 25 scholarships available and 15 commits so far. Based on what Calhoun and Harvey have said I'd consider them soft verbals right now so that's 8 left assuming nobody decommits but we had 2-3 recruits from the 2013 class enroll early and count towards the 2012 scholarships so I think we could sign up to 28 if we wanted to.

At least we're not Arizona. In OOC they played a middling FCS team, a team so bad they lost to said FCS team last year, and a team two years removed from the FCS.

Honestly I hope he isn't. Tired of watching him blow up in big road games and while this is just Cal at home putting in Cyler Miles now with Cal and Colorado at home would give you two games to see what you have in him while also giving Price a chance to heal up. I'd bet the farm it won't happen, but that's what I'd honestly like to see.

Weather's UNREAL around here of late and the "6' ft wet rule" is NOW in effect boyz. Means IF the surf is over 6' high and clean, NOTHING gets done except for putting on a wetsuit and paddling out for some GREEN WATER BARRELS!...LOCK-N-LOADED and heading west tonite to this place and others close by. God's country...current surf conditions are as follows...

NW swell 5' @ 20 seconds, sunshine and EAST OFFSHORE WINDS to boot, if any ANY OF YOU know what that means, OMG it's clean surf and building!

Okay well we need more room for linemen not to many linemen considering we really need Casey Tucker. I don't know if he wants to come here he will be a last second decision getting Sam Jones will be huge though. Than we need D line especially with all the players leaving the line next year.

The spread surprises me on the Utah @ USC with all of SC's injurries.

Shouldn't surprise a fan like yourself. Disregarding the fact that Utah QB is hurt, USC is playing well. Nobody has a good word for USC and they'll never get credit, too much past hate built up.

That Notre Dame loss is what is killing you all.

Favored to win and didnt put a good game together.

How is it killing us? Being ranked has no advantage to a team like the Devils. We have to perform to get where we want to be and being ranked does not help us period. Yes, it does kill a top team like the Ducks, especially when they slip down one in the BCS standings. Screw everybody who runs a poll, just leave us out!

A loss to the Ducks helps everybody in the South, especially at the moment, ASU. None the less, I'll be rooting for you on Saturday. Can't help it.

You think the defense just had a lucky game or we are starting to figure out our alignments and our defensive system. Our d looked much faster on Saturday, Anthony Jones can't tackle but he is distruptive Looks like Chris Young dropped a few pounds but I don't think it was speed more of our allingments and offenses were predicting where we would blitz because show the blitz to early like vs USC and they were able to switch sides on handoffs and teams opened up huge holes because of it.

Yes, the team looks better every game because of the experience our new guys are getting. But many, especially you, are overlooking the fact the our problems were not because we can't play on the road, at least no worse than others, not because we're the "same old Devils", but the fact that we had injuries to people we needed and three returned before the UW game. That was the difference. Depth is our problem. Our play will suffer for any injuries. You should have figured that out instead of wondering if we had a "lucky" game. For those who think we can't play on the road, hold that thought.
