Could've, would've, should've. :bawling:

You perceive 2013 Oregon to be way better than those other teams. Time will tell.

I says they aint.

not my point at all. Oregon lost those games.

Just pointing out to you the games Oregon does lose could have very easily gone either way.

If they were getting their asses kicked or losing to a scrub and that was kicking us out of the NATTY I wouldn't have shit to say about it.

Just funny how the conversation about UW's chances vs Oregon quickly turned into "you wont win a NATTY"

Now, back to that Oregon vs Washington game. how do you feel your chances are with .... your words "UW's not very good defense" vs Oregon's best Offense in the nation?

Not even mentioning the smothering and opportunistic Duck defense.

What say you? Got a score prediction:noidea:

ASU_08, you're throwing in the towel, because Whiz says we are exposed??? The winner of the South, whoever that might be, will not likely be undefeated, true, not that it matters. Neither is it "realistic" to assume the North champ will be undefeated, not that it matters but they weren't last year. The Rose Bowl is awarded to the winner of the CCG. There's no debunking of lofty expectations at this point in the season. IMO, ASU will win the South if we beat USC. The second half of the Stanford showed you the HEART of ASU; that's what it takes to win, and it was the one thing we haven't had lately. I wouldn't "realistically" attribute the Rose Bowl to the North until they have defeated the South on the field, in the CCG. Unlike the last two years, the winner of the South will be a true champion who has won it on the field in full competition and is good enough, in their own opinion, to beat the North. Not in the opinion of the biased fans that you have listened to after three games into the season and can't actually pick their noses. It is not a lofty expectation to win the South; we would have done so before if we hadn't given it away, I say given it away; we lost it before we got to the field. It won't happen under Graham. Meanwhile, if ASU fans cannot maintain their faith in the team why should the team bother. Pay attention, Jahii. Let us now stand and sing hymn number 48.

I'm not throwing in the towel, we are still very much in the running for the south, which has been the goal all along, but the Stanford game showed us that we aren't there up front yet to be an elite team. The Rose Bowl is probably out of reach this year but winning the south, going to and winning the Alamo Bowl would be a successful season IMO.

We will get better as the season goes on. Graham always says we expect to win every game on our schedule we are not going to predict anything. Listen to Graham IN GRAHAM WE TRUST!

Cracks me up when they know they are going to get beat and the only defense for them is to

DIVERT!!! DIVERT!!! DIVERT!!!!

uhh,,,, welllll,,,, You aren't going to win a NATTY.

Great argument...

If our defense can shutdown Lee then I'm sure we could shutdown a team full of less talented Lee's

I think Oregon broke my predictor.

It predicted......

Oregon: 109 California 12

And then....

Oregon: 100 Colorado 16

And there are a bunch of other crazy ones. I think the highest I ever saw it predict before was 70 with WVU vs Baylor last year.

:omg:

Of course, it's plain nuts. Maybe I need to stick to more data from last year or something. But...

Holy Shit!

Sure they could get 80+ against them. Just make yourn computer predict for 3 quarters and it will be more accurate.

I tweak for overall results(prediction %) rather than individual games.

It's only week 4 and it's at the point where the data is getting thin, so I'm not too worried about it. Every FBS game it drops 2 games from last year and adds one from this year, so it's about to be the lowest amount of data used, and quality data(aka non-cupcake) games are rare. It's always a bit weird this time of the year.

Just never seen it that crazy before. Thankfully conference play is starting to get in gear and it will clear up.

Three games played and they think they can project the season. BS. These "experts" can't predict Saturdays games. That doesn't deter them.

Are you new to college football? these writers are assigned to write these every week every season

You don't think so but Oregon fans do. I have been watching this team for years and if this isnt the best team Oregon has ever had it is only short by a little.

How is it stupidity?

You yournself stated that your defense isn't that good. lil ol Oregon's offense aint too shabby.

But we don't know that they are a good offense according to you since they haven't played anybody.

Sounds like another Husky ass kicking at the hands of the DUcks to me...

Seems like a reasonable well thought out assumption to me. Do you disagree?

And this is different from what OD said about USC's defense how? At least USC's defense just played an offense that was ranked in the top 10 in most categories!!

There is only 2 MAYBE 3 defenses in the PAC that are built or have the ingredients to have potential to beat Oregons offense, aka slow us down a tad.

Stanford, obvious.

UCLA. Amazing LBs very athletic DL

Possibly ASU. They have speed everywhere on D and Sutton is a beast and they got that great LB. Luckily we don't play them this year.

More proof that you have no clue what you are talking about!! Clancy Pendergast's defenses have given the Ducks problems and now he has better, faster athletes than he's had before!!
