I may try. Sounds like I'm heading back to the East Coast (Boston) this summer for my last tour before I retire
Which branch of the service are you in? I would've been a square peg in a round hole, so I never enlisted. One of my younger sisters joined the Navy SeaBees right out of HS and stayed active until married w/children. Went active reserve 'til the kids were in school, tried to re-up to fulltime but Clinton had been downsizing the military and made a rule that reservists couldn't rejoin fulltime. She's had to just let the time accumulate at the reserve level and won't have her 20 'til she's somewhere in her late 60's or early 70's.I'm at 24 now. That'll give me 29. Then I can just be done and mow the grass on a golf course
I never planned on making it a career but it fit. Round peg round hole type of deal I guess
"OH NEVER MIND" about O State Whizzer?
By the time your Dawgz come south to Corvallis it'll be late November and ALL the nicks and dings of a season will have added up. Keep your focus on the penalty count now tho, because those mistakes are tough to fix in the short term (in a season) while injuries and a seasons grind ALWAYS adds up and slow a team down by the end. Everything comes tough in the PAC and you know it.
"It'll ALL come easy and won't be tough for the Huskies by year's end." Good God son have you forgotten to load your "marble bag" up lately? Caught up in a 2-0 start ALREADY?
that's the ol' wubz we all know. UW has the depth to still be able to take out a sleepy beaver team in november. Never you worry about that. I mean you did manage a comeback win against Utah in overtime. Wait? UTAH? in overtime? Ok, now I'm scared.
Man. That is awesome. 20+ year military career. Much respect!
My 16 year old is intrigued by that idea. If he joins a branch and likes it like he thinks he will, I could see him chasing his dream.
He has family that are career military.
and now that you have just one QB maybe you make a bowl game?
Maybe!! He sure looked good on Saturday!! Offense still needs work though!! Need fewer penalties and need to do a better job converting on 3rd down!!
Going to the game on Saturday!! We'll see what I think after that!!
Mannion leads FBS in yards and TDs. add that to a 73% completion pct.

I cant even imagine how many points Oregon puts up on the rodents this year.
