Seahawks crowd set the new world record for volume at 136.6db. the old world record was 131.67 and Seattle broke it twice in their game against SF tonight.

Only relevant here because most of that same crowd goes to Husky stadium. There is a reason why we believe we have the loudest and most effective home field advantage in football at any level.

Too congratulate you fellas on the win. You have to feel pretty damn confident in the Hawks after that win. Those two teams are not on the same level. I don't care if it is at Seattle, SF, or a neutral field. THe Seahawks as of right now are a better team.

That 9er run game just doesn't look like the last couple years.

Take it from a guy that's been to both schools quite a bit... UA and ASU girls are BOTH smoking hot. Not sure why ASU gets more of a rep for that (national attention for being a party school is my guess) but UA girls are fine as hell. And UA has WAY more fans than ASU, don't kid yourself... though I'll admit a lot of them are just mainly basketball fans because they have arguably the best college hoops fans in the country... but the football program is still growing. And we still have the all-time lead over ASU as far as I'm concerned.

If only Sean Miller could recruit for football too.... but Rich Rod has really put together one hell of a class for next year. Can't wait... BEAR THE FUCK DOWN!

With an in-law's Bday party to go to this next Sat, I won't be able to catch the games. I watched the Beavs struggle @ Utah, sucking air at that altitude and still got the win. Utah is going to make some noise in conf and can compete for the South Div. Beavs should have an easier time this Sat @ SDSU with the lower altitude and non-AQ opponent. Looks like I gave Mamba a run in the pick'ems. No shame in 2nd place there. Watched the last qtr of the ASU game and didn't see the Wisky QB kneel. Only saw what looked like him bumping into one of his players, then setting the ball on the ground. I couldn't figure why and saw ASU jumping on it while time ran out. Stupidest thing I've ever seen to end a game. For all the Wisky fans out there, WWWAAAAaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!

Anyway, I was just messing with yous and don't blame me for wishful thinking. Good luck to your teams. The Big 10 has turned into a basketball conference for sure. And I cannot root for Ohio St.

12 penalties for 104 yards in that game mamba. that's not going to get it done in the 4 road games in conference this year. Can you win giving up 104 unforced error yards to Stanford? How about UCLA? Will you win at ASU like that? Oregon Stat... oh never mind. Suddenly that game doesn't look as tough.

By the time your Dawgz come south to Corvallis it'll be late November and ALL the nicks and dings of a season will have added up. Keep your focus on the penalty count now tho, because those mistakes are tough to fix in the short term (in a season) while injuries and a seasons grind ALWAYS adds up and slow a team down by the end. Everything comes tough in the PAC and you know it.

Agree. Studied and rated this very subject. After considerable study and unbiased ratings, I find that 12 PAC schools are tied for first place. No other conference comes close. We need to step it up in football.

Talk about penalties! Oregon is in the 100s in FBS for penalized yardage.

This team is not as DISCIPLINED as Kelly's teams.

But they have way more swag. Helfrich running the offense faster and has bigger balls when it comes to play calling.

And the defense is just as good if not better than last year.

The Ducks do a lot of things the same as Kelly's teams did. But this team has a longer leash. It is a really scary good team at this point. You can feel the difference in swag and attitude under Helfrich.

I just hope they clear up these penalties before the meat of the PAC schedule.

This Duck team is really really good man.

I believe you have mentioned this a time or two before. Now I'm beginning to wonder if its you or me you're trying to convince.
