However it's not about the O its about the D.

Week 1 Hundley scored on every first half drive and yet we were up a mere 4 points vs Nevada!

It's gonna be a good game no doubt, if the Bruins defense can get the ball in Hundley's hands enough times we'll take the game, if not it's gonna be a shoot out with very similar offenses.

Those types of games usually go to the home team.

And yes Vita, when I first brought that up about the Donkey I had incorrectly thought he had taken WSU to cover but not win. When I actually ran the numbers (since I was the one doing it last week) I saw that he had WSU to win and correctly put him up as the weekly winner. There is nothing to correct here. The end results were right.

I have found it interesting this week to see how many have changed their minds over this weekends UW/Ill game. Because of the spanking they put up on cincy there is now a thought growing that UW is in trouble. Vegas still has it 9.5 to 10 spread so it wouldn't seem that any are putting their money where their mouth is, but yet those voices are there aren't they.

If you were forced to put your house up on this game, what would your prediction be? We know UW has had questions in the past about how they prepare and play for road games so of course that has to be considered. Still, they showed in the first game the depth they have now and how well they have adapted to their new uptempo style. Factor in that they didn't play their most explosive and problematic player for defenses to account for and how can anyone not like UW to score at least 30? Road or not Illinois is going to have to create a lot of turnovers and score at least 35 to win.

Current o/u is 62 so if you feel strongly about Illinois winning go put up money on both the game and the over because it will take a lot more than 62 to win this thing.
