Still feels wrong that ye old donkey will win it despite picking WSU to cover, but not win while others picked WSU to actually win, but that's how we agreed it was so there you are.

Just thought I'd clear this up....

Ok PAC12 thread guise. Here we go. Since it appears we have no volunteers to head this thing, I will take it on. However it isn't too late to volunteer. This is how it will be ran.

• All games will be picked vs a betting line that I will pull from Vegas Insider. Once the lines are posted for each weeks game, those lines will be used for entire week regardless of line changes. Here is the VI link we will use. http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/
• Lines will be posted some time on Sunday each week.
• Picks must be made before 8:59 AM each Saturday. If the PAC has a game on a Thursday or Friday, all of your pics must be in before 4:59 PM on those days.
• Once again, all pics must be submitted at the same time. Partial pics will not be recorded.
• 1. The first "go to" tiebreaker will be the "big PAC game of the week" chose by me, a total points pick. You must choose the winner correctly for your total point tie breaker to count. If there is a tie and both finalists pick the wrong team, total points for this game will still be used.
• There will be NO BETTING LINE for teams playing FCS teams. Just pic a winner. Vegas doesn't post lines for these games, neither will we.

Here is the format I would like all of you to make your pics. It will make it easier to track for me or whoever is doing the end of week tallies.

I will make the first weeks pics so yall can copy or quote my pics and then make them your own.

Example:

USC -24 1/2 vs NW Cal State: USC
Oregon -30 vs North Dakota: Oregon
Washington -23 vs Washinton Tech: Washington
WSU-50 vs Idaho: Idaho
etc
etc
etc
Tiebreaker Game of week: UCLA -3 1/2 vs Oregon State: Oregon State 31 UCLA 24 total 55

Also, I encourage you to leave comments after your pics.... Why they win, why they lose. Etc. And again. next week, probably Sunday shortly after I post the lines, I will leave my pics for you to use as a format.

Please feel free and don't be shy to ask questions now. Better to be clear now than in week 3

These arguments are so old and lame. Do you really think us not winning a natty makes us feel bad while we are watching our team play THIS SEASON? It is so ridiculous and doesn't make me angry at all. We have had a bad history and,but our team has been great the last couple of years. How will we ever root for our great team this year?!?!?!?

UCLA +4 1/2 @ Nebraska ~ This road game scares me, staying with my team though. Outcome will tell just how far Mora has brought the Bruins.
Tennessee @ Oregon -26 1/2
Boston College @ Southern Cal -14 1/2 ~ Not sure So Cal's offense can score more than two TD's, still think the defense is good enough for one and so I got 'em covering.
Washington -10 1/2 @ Illinois ~ Good road test for the Huskies, Illinois can put 'em up though! Hate taking those half points at 10 though.
Ohio State @ California +15 1/2 ~ If Cal can run the ball early I think they have a shot not only at covering but to make it interesting. Just see them trying to play catch up and the Buckeyes getting that pick 6 for the cover.
Texas San Antonio @ Arizona -26 1/2
Oregon State @ Utah - 3 1/2 ~ Would of been my pick for game of the week, since it's the only PAC conference game going and the line is just about a pick'em on a neutral field.
Southern Utah @ Washington State -23 1/2 ~ Not sure about this one Southern Utah is not that bad compared to the spread but I'll take the Cougs to cover at home.
Wisconsin @ Arizona State - 5 1/2 ~ Hard game to gauge, both have put up points and neither have been scored upon although each haven't really played anyone yet. I see why Mamba picked this game as the game of the week.

The point isn't should you feel bad about your team, but is the chest thumping and assurances by a select few that a natty is inevitable this year justified given they have never sealed the deal before and aren't really better than they were those years? That's the point being made by many. Oregon fans don't know how to act and really don't know what to expect because it is so fresh for them. Really really good teams lose games every single year. In fact almost all great teams lose at least one game. How many go undefeated out of the top 10 each season? Even Alabama has lost games. Running the table is so hard to do. Oregon found out that doing so doesn't mean you will even win the title after they lost to Auburn. And yet their fans act like they are the greatest team in all the lands right now and have no chance of losing a game in conference nor the NCG and many of us just and point out your noobness.

QB Martinez shredded us in the first half last year for over 100 yards running the ball and he can chuck it as good as any. With our young defense and untested secondary it could end up being a long day. Oh and the emotional roller coaster these boys have gone through with WR Nick Pasquale passing this week doesn't help in the mix of the unknown.

I'm all for a good avi bet mamba however don't think this on is a good one.

Well yes and no, but the key words there were 'select few'. You can't say you have seen it right?

As for what you have said personally, you do often tone it down while a serious discussion is going on, but I believe there have been some times where you are trolling/taunting where you at least come off like they are invincible if not down right saying it. We are all going to be here to remind you that anything is possible, but until you actually do it there is little anyone is going to pay attention to the braggadocio of your fans. Especially under a first year unproven HC.
