I tuned out from the Denver Bmore game last night.

Didn't catch much in 2nd half.

Watched the ass kicking in Tempe.

But I just saw Peton Manning's stat line.

27-42 462 yds 7 TDs

:omg:

Not bad for a guy late into his 30s.

Sometimes the best defensive is a good offense. Not sure if you saw the rookie on ST run into Jacoby Jones and take him out of the game however the game changed on that play. Flaco had no one to throw to and Ray Rice couldn't carry the team to move the chains.

That said, the Baltimore defense was cut to shreads, and even though Peyton scored TD's later in the drive, there were some drops in the endzone that could have been TD's too but Manning still made good on later downs.

Do you mean OOC games mcnabb?

Or are you speaking on the strength of the conference from top to bottom?

I'm talking with the conference games, Vita, the Quack attack fans will ask if I've been drinking already today since there at the top, but as a whole there can be some serious tough games that could very well end up as upsets this season...

Washington is very proud of their storied football tradition. In fact, they celebrate their years of greatness before every game against Oregon. They choose one member of the Tyee Club and have them kiss the head of their youngest relative who was alive when the Dogs last beat the Ducks.

Come on now, I wasn't taken a shot at your Ducks, when I was explaining my thoughts on more possible upsets within the conference....

Dude, didn't you know there is ONLY the ducks? Everything is about them whether you know it or not.

Really though, there are always upsets in the Pac and given how wide open the south is this year I'm not sure if you can call them upsets or not, but we can bet there will be a few surprises coming. North? Not as many, but there will still be some. Will OSU bounce back and beat one of the big 2? Will anyone knock off Stanford? Will WSU beat someone they shouldn't? Can Cal come in year one and make any noise?

There are lots of questions that don't involve the zeros.

Yeah, I still have questions about how good my Bruins will be this year since I have no clue about their punting team.... still haven't seen that squad in action...

Why should we punish Regent? Why would anyone take the long shot in the future if this is how we treat them for it?

Wait... what? He missed the pick. We are just giving him a lil light hearted ribbing. I like Regent just fine.

That is one of the points of this pickem. Bragging rights and having fun with it.

Its all good.

ya I don't get it. R u confusing IronBreaker and Regent?

Or an I just dense?

or both?

I was trying to be funny.

I'm guessing most of you didn't believe TCU should be ranked prior to playing LSU? Their best player and Big 12 defensive player of the year doesn't play and they still held their own but they don't get ranked but LSU flies up the polls? Something doesn't add up. Or once again, humans make it where coaches want to schedule weak. You can't have it both ways guys. You can't beg teams to play games like this and then punish the losing school while rewarding schools for looking great against the little sisters of the poor.

Some of you don't get it. LSU was the higher ranked team and the favorite. TCU lost as they should have. Baylor plays Wofford and moves into the polls as one example. TCU loses to a probable top 10 and potentially even top 5 team and falls out of the polls. Why would TCU ever schedule a game like that again? This is the reason people schedule like they do now. Also, why did Georgia drop so far? They lost to a top 10 team on the road by 3 points. Why schedule a game like that again? Now they play another top 10 team and could fall completely out of the polls with another close loss while other teams play cupcakes and move up.
