HIGH OCTANE
Sac St was a good team last year and can put points up. Not expecting some upset but think the point spread was a bit much. ASU will still attempt to turn it into a statement as they haven't played a game yet. Im sure they'll win big at home. Could end being wrong, but just thought the spread was worth the gamble.
They've won their last 2 games against Pac schools so they're definitely not the typical FCS cupcake. Still, I think ASU covers. Navy's defense is probably comparable to Sac ST's and we scored a TD on our first 7 drives against them. Graham hasn't run up the score in the past but at the same we have a good amount of position battles for 2nd string spots going on defensively and a few young guys/transfers who need to get the first game jitters out of the way, and they can't do that if we run dives every play and call vanilla defenses in the second half. I'm honestly more excited to see the backups play than the starters. Depth was an issue for us last year.
