I have to add after seeing the goal that Konecny even made Lundqvist look bad last night with that wrister. Not many people do that, let alone 19 year olds. Unreal stuff.

It makes you think this kid is going to be an absolute star.

Konecny looks like he can be a top 6 forward this year. Provorov has poise that Most 3-4 year veteran dmen never have. The future looks bright and hopefully we get a good look at it this year.

I know whoever is in net any night we have a solid goalie in there.
Konecny needs to be a top six this season

I have to give the organization credit if they keep Konecny with the Flyers this season and it all works out. Instead of adding a top six scoring forward via free agency or trade, we do it via our prospect pool. That didn't happen too often for us across the last 20 years.

Provorov too. Perhaps both of them could challenge for the Calder on the same damn team since they are at different positions.

I like Proverov i just dont see what everyone else sees in the two games i have seen him. Hes a nice defenseman but i dont see him challenging for a Calder I hope im 100% wrong on this.

MDZ out 4-5 weeks. Looks like Hexy will have to go LTIR which solves any cap problems.

I have to admit I said this too after watching him play a few games in Juniors. But, the guy sure puts up the stats somehow.

Well, he still seems like a defenseman that can legitimately play half of a game, which we haven't had in a long time. That alone makes him a potential number one, if anything.

I do feel bad for this guy. He really can't catch a fucking break right now. When was the last time he even played in a competitive game? It's been awhile...

So, I of course had to look it up. February 13th!!

I hope this is his one injury and then he's good for the rest of the season.

What a horrible break for him but in reality he won't miss too many games and it will give the team a chance to assess a few rookies. Take advantage of the ten game rule and let the kids earn it.

Really looking forward to the Bruins' game today (after watching Ohio State win) have yet to see 60 minutes of hockey from the Flyers this pre-season.

Manning is apparently back at practice. 7 dmen which includes Provorov.
Even is more injuries occur we still have Morin and Meyers waiting in the wings with Sanheim not far behind. This is a great problem to have.

Provorov is like Timonen was. You don't really notice him out there, he's just making good/smart plays. Also the advanced stats guys love him.

I can see that but from what i was hearing i was just expecting a game changer. He is just a solid two way player which we need as we already have a game changer on the back line in Ghost
