Loved the game tonight.

1. Voracek looked like a man possessed. I don't think he lost a puck battle the whole night. I thought he was phenomenal, even without the OT ridiculousness.

2. Unfortunate giveaway for Morin and a tough pinch on the first goal. Other than that I thought he played a really strong game. Used his size and reach very well. First time I've watched him and thought he could contribute at the nhl level.

3. Konecny and Provorov belong. Konecny is just dangerous out there and Provorov is smooth as silk. So calm and just makes the right play all the time. Reminds me of a defender version of Coots.

4. Loved Weal and Lyubimov in this one. Really like what they bring to the table. I think Read, and especially Laughton could be in trouble.

5. Can't say enough good things about Hextall right now. Love what he's doing with the club. The competition in camp is driving some awesome play. All the young guys are looking improved. The phantoms are going to be a force this season. It's all awesome.

6. Really liking the more aggressive PK, I hope that continues in to the regular season. Nobody has a second to think out there. It's good stuff.

7. Mase has looked dialed in to me this preseason. Again, loads of competition driving good play.

8. I'm essentially giddy.

Wouldn't mind seeing that... VV, Read, PEB fighting from the press box, Laughton with the Phantoms. I'd be shocked if Lyubimov, Konecny, and Weal all make the team, but damn they're playing well.

Manning goes down. Coming in to the season I was against moving Streit. But seeing Ghost in a couple games, provorov in a bunch, and the way MDZ is playing, Streit is expendable.

Flyers might have a top 3 goalie tandem in the league this season. I think they'll be that good.

1- Voraceks goal in OT was incredible and i hope that lifts his confidence to score more this season.
2-Morin is having a great pre season and last night was no exception until the give away then i think he got a little frazzled after and didn't play so well but definitely looks NHL ready if not now very soon
3-Konecny is a stud and will make this team and doesn't look out of place at all. Proverov i thought was invisible most of the game but i guess that's good for a defenseman but i expected more offensively and i though Morin has a way better shot from the point. But this is my first time really watching Proverov.
4-I liked Weal he played well along with Lyubimov but i think Read stays on the team for his defensive and penalty kill abilities
5- Hextall has turned this franchise around in a hurry I love that guy!
6-PK was awesoem last night
7- Mase looked as smooth as i have ever seen him but once again his crappy puck handling does him in and it was the same story that he gives up a crappy goal almost once every game. But he did look a lot more in control than usual
8- I'm dancing on air right now.

With only two preseason games remaining, I'm really starting to wonder when the final roster will be set. There are some really difficult decisions here and if some of our prospects are thought to give us a better shot at winning, they need to play asap.
