I can see that but from what i was hearing i was just expecting a game changer. He is just a solid two way player which we need as we already have a game changer on the back line in Ghost

I think if we give him the opportunity this season, he can be a game changer. I certainly wouldn't bet against it. With MDZ hurt and Gudas potentially facing suspensions every now and then, we need these young guys to step up and show us everything they can do to help.

This is a really exciting time for us. I see it's the first time that two 19 year-old rookies have made the roster since 1984, which was the year I was born.

Add to that the fact that our World Cup players all appear to be playing at a very high level right now. That's pretty much a third of our team right there.

The injuries, while unfortunate, will not hurt us anywhere near as much as they would've in the past. It's because the depth we have now is off the charts compared to any other time that I can remember.

In a year or two, we are going to be a constant, strong Cup contender for years to come. This is just possibly the year where we win a round or two and upset a higher seed. Either way, I don't expect to be a 7th or 8th seed. We're better than that, right now.

when healthy n such, looking like that's going to be the crew. i like it quite a bit. we'll see how they manage being without MDZ and Gudas for October. The offense is going to need to start out hot.

I think that the top two lines could really produce a lot of goals and the third line will be underrated offensively in addition. Couturier really has the green light to pile up the points with Konecny and Voracek flanking him.

The power play and penalty kill will also both be improved over last season, I have little doubt of that.

It's just really unfortunate that we probably won't see that full roster dressed until around the 17th game of the season or so. Sometime midway through November if everyone else stays healthy.
