I didn't hear about the years but im hearing 2.3 to Wiese while White is asking 1.77I'd consider Weise an upgrade over White.. but 4 years has me scared.

well that's helpful...thanks
I have no idea why the Islanders would let Okposo go and then sign Ladd for basically the same years half a million less per yearwell that's helpful...thanks
who knows how the talks went down. Maybe Okposo sees Buffalo rising and Islanders fallingI have no idea why the Islanders would let Okposo go and then sign Ladd for basically the same years half a million less per year
Early on I brought up signing Martin and you said 2 million a year is way to much for a 4th liner. Now were locked in a 2.35 for 4 years for a 4th liner.Weise - 4 years, 2.35 AAV sounds like. Seems a bit steep to me, but i'd rather be locked in to Weise for 4 years at 2.35 than be locked in to Backes, Lucic, or Laad on the contracts they got.
Staal to Minny for 3 years at 3.5 would've been a good deal though i think.

His last 2 years have been:It IS too much. Not a good signing unless the Flyers see him as a 3rd line guy.
IMO 4 years is way too many years also.It IS too much. Not a good signing unless the Flyers see him as a 3rd line guy.
We definitely could've done better. Tying up this amount of money for 4 years for a 4th liner is not smart at all.His last 2 years have been:
10-19-29
14-13-27
He is better offensively than White and apparently also better defensively. He is, however, a 4th line guy.
I agree. I really thought a 20 goal scorer was priority. McGinn went for $3.5 so I guess that was too much. This is the type of signing that makes me believe Konecny is on the team next year.We definitely could've done better. Tying up this amount of money for 4 years for a 4th liner is not smart at all.
