Hopefully Morin brings a mean streak with him when he comes up.

I am 100% in favor of bringing Lappy back hes gotta be better than Wiese.I know and he's flourished since his trade to the Wild. Bring Lappy out of retirement.
Well see next season if everything goes well right now this team is soft like butter on a 90 degree day.Hopefully Morin brings a mean streak with him when he comes up.

We'll have to wait till next season to see what he's bringing with, but I'll say it's a safe bet, next season he brings friends!!!
I hope so.
Since they lost Pronger, teams take liberties with them, and they don't play tough anymore.
We all know its lack of talent this is obvious but if we are going to have no talent at least lets stop the other teams from taking cheap shots at our best players which was quite evident that was what Wilson was doing. The problem is a lack of talent, not toughness. See Blackhawks, Chicago 2103 and 2015 and Penguins, Pittsburgh 2016.
Morin would be a somewhat of an answerI hope so.

We need much better jump which sometimes we get when they play on the road but with no consistency. Maybe they wake up starting tonight. We need to put up a couple of early goals and never look backWe need to be a better road team moving forward and that has to start tonight. A regulation loss would be crippling as all of the teams just ahead of us in the standings are also playing tonight. They have some tough games, so there's definitely an opportunity here to gain some ground or even pass one of them.
More specifically, we could pass Florida, tie Toronto and move to within one of the Islanders if everything goes our way.

Nobody is suggesting "goon it up" we are suggesting protecting our players with maybe a hard hit in the corner or mix it up with pushing and shoving or if need be a fight. As far as putting less talented people on the ice nobody is suggesting that here either as i suggested a player like Ryan White with more offensive talent and can kill penalties and who will protect his players more than players like VV and Wiese. White is just an example of many players around the league that can do what is being suggested here. So to recap: we can get better talent as well more toughness if we just looked to do it.Unfortunately, what you're suggesting is that they put an even less talented player on the ice, further exascerbating the real problem. Chicago and Pittsburgh dealt with the same problem but managed to win 3 Cups anyway. I don't count Chicago 2010 because that team was both talented AND tough. Yes, there are still a few players in the league who goon it up, but that number drops each year. Players need to put on their big boy pants and play through the rare occasions when it still happens.

This^^^^^And a full 3 period effort.
If this could only happen in real life we would all be walking on air. We are all hoping it starts tonight. The best way to protect our players is to score a goal on the power play after a guy like Cousins successfully goads them into a bad penalty.
0 for 6 against Washington isn't good enough. One power play goal wins us that game and even 1 for 6 is not a good average to have. Our top unit is better than that.
Im going with Jake for tonight first goalFor tonight's game I will take for first goal......
