Yeah, that site was gold...someone posted another site that had a pretty user friendly layout a couple weeks ago, I forget what it was called.

I think the Flyers currently have something like $325,000 is cap space as of now

Site gets depressing to look at when you see LeCavalier /Umberger/MacDonald etc..contracts,but I have a shitload of confidence in Hextall fixing those problems.

Those contracts are depressing, hopefully under the new system they produce more than they have in the past.

Anyone else think that the Rangers might have screwed us with the deal they just signed Stepan to? 6yr/39mil for Stepan? That sounds ridiculous to me. I was thinking we would be able to lock Jake up for something around 5yr/35mil. But if a player like Stepan can receive more, I'm not so optimistic that we can keep Jake under 8mil per

Hoping Jake gives us a hometown discount but that may not be realistic. The ROR contract played a roll in Stepan signing his deal.

I think Jake is going to be right around 8. I think they'll push to keep him below Giroux, but they won't have a lot of room to be well below Giroux based on the current market.

That's why i was thinking 5 yr $37.5-40. Keeps it a little under Giroux.

Leave Giroux ,but put in Mason/Voracek/Simmonds over Schenn and Coots IMO.
