The two teams are way more similar than people think.

-Mahomes and Jimmy G had similar YPAs this year. I don't think either QB has been blown out. Both have really good records when healthy.

-Niners coach and Reid have both choked away big playoff games.

-Both teams have a top TE and can utilize a FB.

-Both teams have a stacked dline and can beat people with their WRs. Chiefs are better at one and Niners are better at the other but they can both do it.

-Neither team really invests in RB but instead invests in OL

-Both have a scrappy trash talking person in their secondary that they didnt draft

Pretty rare when I side with a 49er fan, but got to go with Sickness in this debate. Anybody claiming the Chiefs running game compares well to the 49er run game been toking on some good bud. Chiefs run game works (if and when they use it)because every defense is worried about getting to Mahomes and screw the RB. Pressuring Mahomes hopefully slows down that pass happy offense, nobody is worried about the Chiefs running game beating them. Pretty hilarious to suggest other wise. I could give a shit what analytics have to say about this.
