I don't know. Camavinga and Tchouameni are both really, really good (though admittedly very young). I'd be more concerned with Deschampes' negative tactics - but you could say that about quite a few coaches.
France paired them up in midfield in the Nations League vs. Denmark and got burnt. Asking a lot of them so early on.

But you never know I guess.

I see Hope Solo was left off the World Cup squad. That bet cashed out as a loser. 0-1 on my wagers so far.

In a tournament where people are probably gonna be screaming to bench Ronaldo after game 1 I'm not sure why you wouldn't bring at least one more final third option, especially with guys like Beto at Udinese or Jota at Celtic playing pretty consistently well.

Belgium will still be a handful with or without Lukaku.

BRUSSELS — Romelu Lukaku was selected in Belgium's 26-man squad for the World Cup on Thursday despite coach Roberto Martinez not expecting to be able to call on the injured striker until after the group stage.

Martinez said Lukaku, Belgium’s record scorer with 68 goals, was “medically unfit” after sustaining a left thigh injury two weeks ago.

I think Musiala would definitely be in the squad but probably stuck on the bench while Southgate persists with Sterling.

I wanted Tomori in the squad too but not particularly surprised that he isn't. At least we have five players who can play right back......

A 2-2 tie against Bahrain isn't inspiring, but hey you don't want to peak too early...

Wasn’t this squad all MLS players?

They’re lucky they weren’t blown out lol

Yeah, it was definitely a 'B' team for Canada

Also, the pitch wasn't exactly in great shape as you can see in the above video.

There should be a warning for all Spurs games. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I'm reading that Maddison limped off the field today. JWP hasn't had a great season (Saints have been rubbish the entire campaign), but if Maddison can't go to Qatar, Ward-Prowse might not be a bad replacement.

There’s a fucking shit ton of stuff to unpack from that Ronaldo interview with Piers Morgan but this is fucking hilarious.

I really wish he had waited until after the World Cup to air this out though. Don’t need the circus.

Qatar World Cup
We can lose to Germany (though we want to win).
Costa Rica is also strong but we can win.
The game against Spain is the game.

Is he insinuating that Spain will have already progressed or is he just that confident that Spain is worse than Germany?

Because I don’t think Spain is worse than Germany.

I think Japan are sneaky good but it's a terrible group for them. I can see them getting a draw against Germany or Spain but probably not enough to advance.
