90k expected at the game today.
90k expected at the game today.
Took me and my buddy 30 minutes to get in when we got in line at the gate. We caught the train in Rancho Cucamonga at 10:10 am to go to the Stadium. The train was full of Rams fans, and the Subway was jamb packed to the hilt. The light rail was no better, and like cattle they herded us to the gate. From there we got to our seats around 12:45 where we just caught the last few songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers!
Honestly, this game had more folks than the Dallas Preseason game, this time mostly Rams fans!

LA Population 18,600,000.
STL Population 2,800,000
I would hope they can sell out a game when NFL football has been gone for 25 years.
Yes, it is the best way to go.Nice. That's the smart way to go imo.
I heard parking was $50???? It was $20 when I went to the Raiders playoff game when Hostetler was the QB. Insane.
Yes, it is the best way to go. Actually parking was $80 to $100 and we caught the Metro for $10 bucks RT each! Also it's safer too! We bummed some ice from some tailgaters and as we got in line, we poured some cocktails as we waited to get in. Then a few of them $15 pints of beer, yes our travel home was very safe!

...and that population difference isn't an obvious reason why the Queen Idiot should never have moved the team in the first place? The only reason she did was a ridiculous lease deal that St Louis could never afford to live up to.
Well I didn't get a chance to see the parking prices yesterday (Those prices I saw were for the Dallas game)80-100? Fucking nuts.
Thought news said 50.

I guess it went up a bit, yesterday people were asked to pay $180 to $200+ and there was no tailgating!
Parking for Rams games hits $200 and up — good news for mass transit backers
Yes, Wifey and I bought out here in 1987, almost 30 years ago DJ.You're in the IE? I've been thinking about moving that way.
So the silk suits over at ESPN are going on and on about the Cardinals. What is wrong with the Cardinals? Give me a break! I'll tell you what is wrong with the Cardinals; they were beat by a better team yesterday. I guess the Rams will need to win out the rest of the season to get any respect from the sports media. I woke up this morning expecting to see the Rams get some praise but no something must be wrong with the Cardinals!!!!!!
