Wow.....looked at the schedule. This month is brutal. And even in October.

Fisher said "15 other teams lost last weekend"....I checked none of them were shutout. More excuses. At this point it would be a good time to let him go. The team will adjust to a new head coach and the Rams still may suck but at least we won't have to listen to Fishers excuses any longer. I can't take it, he is a loser.

It’s disappointing,” Fisher said. “There’s no reason for the lack of production, lack of execution.

“If I could see it coming, we’d have done something different.”:tsk:

Jeff Fisher climbs the career coaching losses list

"Fisher is now all alone in third place in NFL history for most coaching losses, with 157. Prior to last night he was tied with Don Shula for third place, with 156"

"That Fisher is tied with Shula for losses isn’t a good sign, considering that Shula coached 490 games in his Hall of Fame career, while Fisher has coached just 327 games"

Fisher’s career coaching record now sits at 169-157-1. The only coaches in NFL history with more losses are Tom Landry (250-162-6) and Dan Reeves (190-165-2). Fisher has a chance to pass both of them this season; if the Rams lose nine more games and finish 6-10 or worse, Fisher would have the all-time losses record to himself.

If Fisher does set that record this year, it would be hard for Rams owner Stan Kroenke to justify keeping him next year. Setting the all-time losses record could be Fisher’s final accomplishment as an NFL head coach.

So, apparently they won't let Tyrod Tayor back into a game tonight after a possible concussion, but when it comes to Keenum, no prob????

Fisher has a hard on for not playing Mannion at all costs. I'm sure Fisher would've probably trotted Keenum back out there on a broken leg and with a broken arm before putting Mannion in there. Either that or would've tried out Hekker as the quarterback.

That Keenum situation raised the focus on those hits. It's still unbelievable that Keenum was left in that game last year; he could hardly stand straight.

Week One ratings were generally down

Don't forget to scroll down on the link I've added here.

It seems a lot of people are disgusted with these NFL athletes refusing to stand for our National Anthem and are not only turned off but are choosing to tune out.
Also, the Rams play probably disgusted a lot of people watching and thus, they turned it off.

Ratings are a guess at best. They only take into account a statistical sample chosen by the networks to be observed. Starting with a late start on Monday night against the expected-to-be-awful Niners isn't exactly a ratings draw either, especially compared to last year's Sunday matchup against the Seahawks. Apples vs oranges.

Let me know how those home attendance numbers look vs St. Louis.

LA Population 18,600,000.
STL Population 2,800,000

I would hope they can sell out a game when NFL football has been gone for 25 years.

Probably know this but heard Goff is #2 and Keenum will be "on a short leash" today. He should have been vs the 49ers.
