My real point in that post was Fisher doesn't need excuses for preseason play. Now him saying the team was tired was just a statement of fact. But it could seem lame.

Yes I went with Lombardi's version because when fatigue sets in, the inner voice will ALWAYS guide us in the wrong direction. It's up to us whether we listen to our inner voice or not.

And of course, that was Lombardi's point.

"Paralysis by Analysis" than what Lombardi suggests.
At least whoever coined that plagiarized version made it rhyme!



Whether it's Shakespeare or Rush, neither would disagree regarding this aspect in the 'Limelight' of football....
