Then head to Indiana and work the Hield/Turner for Westbrook and two number ones trade that was on the table back in the early part of the summer!
Josh Richardson and Doug McDermott would cost you less.In the NBA thread......
@Mecca brought up a good point.....roll with RW and use the 1st round picks to acquire Hield from Indy and Bog from Utah in separate deals. Gives us 2 really good shooters.
True.Josh Richardson and Doug McDermott would cost you less.
You don't necessarily need a homerun player like Kyrie.
You need roster balance.
You got younger, more athletic and better defensive players.
Just get guys to spread the floor.
Richardson is expiring.
So, he preserves your cap if you wanna make another run at Kyrie in the Summer.

True.
I don’t think Jerry wants to be a GM anymore.I have said this before but I believe Jeannie Buss would do herself a favor to swallow her pride, call Jerry West to have a face-to-face, and do a mea culpa with the Icon to come back to the Lakers as a the GM. Give him the power to make all personnel decisions and then get out of the way and let him build the 18th Championship team!!
Pat Bev to the Lakers for THT and Stanley Johnson.....no picks involved.....
Hate to see Johnson go but he's replaceable......Beverley is a dog.....a defender that gets after people and can guard the opposing team's best player, as long he isn't a center.
Like that move. Deals are going to start happening now that KD and Irving are staying in BK.
Yeah, but Bev was more of a need.....IMO.Johnson was a nice reclamation project last year, hopefully he builds on that in Utah with more opportunity.
