The chill between Bron and RW was unreal at summer league. Not sure why RW would even show up there when he knows the Lakers are trying to trade him.

If there is any truth to it at all, his mental illness and douchebaggery is worse that I thought.

At worst....the Nets start season with both....and then deal them during season. Irving is expiring and KD is signed for 4 years....I don't see Irving saying he sitting out. If he does, the price drops.

And they shouldn't be in a rush to trade KD....he signed for long term and he doesn't strike me as the type to say he will sit out.

I think at this point, this has been mostly a hoax from two Douchebags entering their window of being at the end of their careers. And they are looking for attention and they got it. I think Lakers will now move along to the Turner/Hield option or some other option and they'll move Westbrook at the Trade deadline or at the end of the season.

Not saying he's going to be him.....but you know who THT favors in his learning curve? Jimmy Butler.

THT played 1 season of college ball and has played 2 so far in the NBA....his rookie season was a whopping 6 games. I hardly count that as much more than a cup of coffee.

Butler played 3 years of college ball and his first 3 in the NBA were less than stellar. He was neither very athletic or dynamic, but he got better through hard work and gradually turned himself into a really good player. Look at his first 3 seasons in the League.

Butler got drastically better his 4th season at the age of 25 when he averaged 20ppg, 5.8rpg, 3.3apg and 1.8spg. He has never been a great shooter, his 3% is a lackluster career 32.1%.

THT is 21, so he has 4 more seasons to improve and I think he will in the next 2 if he gets the chance. Most likely not with the Lakers. Now, I'm not saying THT will or can be Butler, but he certainly can improve to where he's a good player in the League. Not many 6-4 guards have a wingspan of a 7-footer. He could turn into a really good defender and a capable offensive player that could score 13-15ppg.

Big Mega Deal with five teams may be more posturing but the Lakers end-up with Irving and Hield and the move Westbrook, THT, and 2 Number ones (27, 29), and a Number 2 (23). I suppose everyone will be happy. We shall see.

Irving and Hield would boost our trey shooting by themselves. Hield is a perfect fit with AD and James. Irving is a good fit but an even better fit since he has played with James.

And I saw a vid of AD raining treys in training for the upcoming season. If he's the 4 and can make say 33%.....that's not bad.

We do need a backup PG.....and there are a few decent ones that can be had for the vet minimum.

James will make about 35-37%.

Think Walker makes about 35-36%

Reaves should be able to increase his to 33-35%.

Brown and TCA are probably around 33-35%

But if Hield and Irving can combine to take 18 or so and hit their typical 40% that will help a lot.
