Yep, we have signed some pretty decent FAs and I really am liking what I see from the talent in the G-League. Bass, Christie, Huff (Jay was with Lakers last season, back for more seasoning) McClung, Pippen Jr., Swider and Jones. Excellent shooting all-around, they play really good defense, and they are about hustle.

Dude might be a good defender but he can't shoot worth a damn. Maybe in Green Eggs and Ham's economy, that will be sufficient to keep the dude.

Yep. That is exactly what Pelinka and Ham have been preaching from the start. It was the same thing Vogel was screaming at for most of last season and one of the things that got him fired because Westbrook balked and then it spread through the roster like a cancer and then nobody played defense. We shall see how it works out this year with all the potential headcases that maybe a part of the roster.

I think the Lakers really want to move Westbrook because I believe Ham wants young bloods with speed and who want to play defense but we just got pirated by the Dubs who stole McClung out from under us.

Dubs have only signed him to their Summer League roster thus far. He's not likely to crack their regular season roster IMO but he could earn their 2nd 2-way contract (Quinones has the other).

I'll take Turner and Hield. They are younger than Kyrie, play defense, and we already have one nutcase. Adding another one won't help the culture.

Bledsoe or Sexton would be the two obvious takes. Sexton before Bledsoe in my book and the Lakers were interested in Sexton a while back anyways.

We ain't getting Sexton. His agent playing hard ball with the the Cavs since Brunson got a huge payday.

Tempted to say we should go Hield and Turner route but damn....a trio of James, AD and Irving could be scary....

I am going to LMAO if Pelinka pulls a rabbit outta his ass and trades RW and say Reaves plus a 1st and a 2nd rounder for Irving and Harris.

And then flips THT and an expiring Nunn plus a 1st for Hield. People would say why would the Pacers do that? Well, like I said Nunn is expiring and it would give them a 1st and save them around 10 mill on the salary cap. THT is signed for a few more years but saving 10 mill and getting a future 1st rounder helps them going forward.

And it'd give us a possible starting lineup of

Irving
Hield
Harris
James
AD

Although I'd probably bring either Hield or Harris off the bench as a designated sniper for 25mpg as our main 6th man to help improve our bench. And play AD at PF to limit his C minutes. Start either Jones or Bryant at C.

Gives us options.
