I would probably have responded in it's own thread, but I did not see it because the Lions dead thread is garbage and the worst thing to ever happen to the internet was it getting stickied to this forum.

That being said I am all for a retractable roof, even though I have never and do not plan to ever be in Detroit to see the benefits of it.

The twins got the hook up: VIP at Lions Camp Friday.

Apparently we get to meet the players then they kids get to carry their helmets on the field and give them to the players. Then we watch practice and get access to the VIP tent.

I'll see if I can take a video of the helmet hand off.

Lions camp was huge fun. Wasn't allowed to take any videos but I got lots of great pics. Will post a few this weekend.

Pretty emotional moment for me seeing my kids walk out into the field with players. It's an incredible blessing to see your kids love something you grew up loving yourself.

It really was. I've had a lot of bad feelings built up with the NFL over the anthem stuff, then I see what they do for the kids and it's hard to be mad. Every person we interacted with went above and beyond with everything. It was very impressive. Restored some faith I have in the league.
