Normally I like Tuesdays because we have softball practice after work, but this fucking snow is killing me! It's the middle of freaking May- the snow should be done by now!!!

We bought a new couch on Sunday, and wouldn't you know it- rained/snowed/sleeted all the way back with it in the back of the truck. Had it tarped, but it still got wet though. You gotta love the U.P., 2" of snow 10 days into May. It's regoddamndiculous I tell you.

It's pretty much all melted now, save for some of the ice around the base that is out of the sun...

The thing is, you'll be driving down a residential neighborhood, and you'll see a dead squirrel that got run over by a car, and you think, 'Maybe we're making some headway', but it's just the opposite. It's only the stupid squirrels that get run over, making all of squirreldom smarter. It may take awhile, but I see squirrels taking over the world.

Also alarming insight. If you think about it, humans come in many shapes sizes and colors. As do squirrels. But........ And this is the scary part.... Some squirrels have mastered the power of flight. Soon as they figure out how to grow thumbs.... We're fucked man!

No sense in worrying about it. As soon as they start showing signs of advanced developement, we can stick TVs in their trees. They'll dumb down in no time.
