I got ya buddy......We always need good posters and you are that sir.....Don't pay attention to my ramblin.......It's usually to get the young bucks to understand old school ways.....The life of a bus driver gives way to the youth......They are always smarter then us old farts. Little do they know how much they can learn from a road traveled many miles.

Muzz, do kids still spit spitwads? Dutch, what's NGS?

Depends......4th, 5th and 6th graders still do....1st and 2nd graders are still more concerned on telling me which tooth is wiggly and the tooth fairy....I'm more concerned with the kids that think what happened in Boston was cool....Those are the ones I'm focused on right now......Not much guidance in there life.

I enjoyed teaching the little ones. But have realized I wasted my time getting the secondary endorsement. It's already too late to get to the ones that need some getting to by then Then again, back in the 80s, there was this psycho on my kindergarten bus. Total nutjob. Everyone knew it. Threw help and supervision his way in every direction. (I hid under my seat from time to time). Didn't do any good. He was a murderer before we graduated high school. He threw rocks at our bus driver. Plus spitballs I'm sure.

It's a uphill fight no doubt.....But when the little ones jump on the bus and try to hug ya.....( i say "I only give high 5s) your getting through to the young ones)....

The older ones are different.....Have to relate to them differently. It's a dynamic.....It was easy for me to tell my soliders to do something. It's different with kids. If the parents arn't there or present, the bus driver or teacher becomes the parent...

Hey Lions, wanted to ask you something about the CBS NFL General board, if any of you posted there. Did they allow off-topic threads?

3 things that stood out in the Barry video.

1 - Every time he made a long run, Brett Perriman was knocking someone on their ass.

2- Barry looked like he was on a different plane of existence. Everyone else looked like they were in slow motion.

3 - Most of the tackles on Barry would be considered Horse Collar penalties. Imagine if Barry played today with all the Pussy rules exist. he would score every other play.

A great snack is canned tomatoes. A little salt and pepper and go to town.

I like stuff that doesn't require a lot of preparation time.

Wow. Canned tomatoes?

Now mix those with some minute rice, a can of chilies and some onions and you have a quick bowl of spanish rice...

I hate spanish rice. When I order Mexican food, I tell them to lose the spanish rice and add more salad.

It's like spanish rice, but mexican.

usually some tomatoes, chilies or jalapenos, onion, black olives are always good, maybe some black beans or pintos, and some hotsauce, of course.

That's a new one on me. There are more Mexicans in Texas than Arians, and they all call it spanish rice down here. Must be something the Canadians made up.

Of course mexicans aren't going to call it mexican rice. Just like we don't call burgers, fries, milkshakes and pizza "American food" like the other countries do.
