Watched an unusually creepy/pervy movie called Hick late last night. Seemed to me to have some David Lynch elements to it, but the story is much easier to follow. I liked it, but I am unusually creepy/pervy.

Just saw FURY


Not a bad movie.
Lacks any real direction, you know, like the Guns of Navarone, they have to take out the guns, or The Dirty Dozen, they have to kill top ranking officers. There is no real mission to this story. That doesn't make it bad. I liked it, action kept going, a little slow in some parts but what movies aren't.

Might watch it again if it comes on HBO, maybe.
I'll give it a 6 out of 10. Better than average, good war scenes, worth the watch.

watched "Monuments Men" again on one of the premium channels.
originally watched it at the theater when it came out and was somewhat disappointed in it. thought it could have been so much better. maybe the hype at the time.


this time around, for some reason, found it so much better for some reason.
I will re-rate this movie and give it a 7/10. Above average, keeps moving, good acting, a good story, a good watch.

"The Last Gladiators"

The documentary about NHL enforcers. I give it 5 stars too. Probably the best sports docu I've ever seen. I grew up in Bama and am not a lifelong hockey fan, but damn! These mofos impress me.

Chris Nilan makes a kid cry just playing with him.
