I will be interested to see how it translates to video. It was pretty spectacular in the theater. The natural lighting and environment has a very ominous and foreboding feel to it.
I'm currently watching it and it is fantastic with the surround sound and 55" screen. I'm glad I bought this on blu ray. Excellent movie so far.

My four year old daughter sits quietly and watches the movie, it makes me laugh.

My kid is a talker. She has a vocabulary that stuns me at least once a week. She is a doll, and is incredibly well-behaved, overall, but she does talk...and talk...and talk. She'll say shit like..."This Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode is a duplicate, Dad."

Uuhhh...ok weird, adult toddler.

Now, in fairness, there are certain flicks she'll do that shit with. Unfortunately, it's all the shit that she shouldn't be watching.

You turn on The Walking Dead in front of her, and she will sit thru the entire episode, glued to the screen. (We obviously don't let her now, after seeing that she was indeed paying very close attention.) lol

We kept our scary flick watching up with "Oculus" last night and my little family of 3 was unanimous in agreeing that it was the best of this bunch...scary, interesting, and generally well acted (I thought Karen Gillan was very good, the guy playing her brother was a little shaky in being believable at times). I have been a fan of Gillan's since first seeing her from behind wearing very tight pants on Dr. Who, but they actually did not really play up her sexiness in this one.

This chick?

When I mess with her, her favorite line is, "you know better" she always cracks me up. She likes to watch YouTube kids or Netflix on my iPad, she unlocks my ipad and goes about watching som thing on Netflix kids.

Yesterday mine was watching a video of a girl playing with her doll. Whatever works, I guess.

Just watched London has Fallen. Not quite as good as the first but still very enjoyable. I hope they do a third..

Gee I really loved that movie.
Maybe it just doesn't age well? I also thought Bull Durham is highly over rated, its a B/C list comedy in my book, but it is hard to judge it fairly based on its age.

Ok. How about the last of the Holy Trinity of Baseball movies? Field of Dreams? :D

The Natural is supposed to be half mythical and half nostalgic. More of our parents times then ours when Baseball was king and the world was definitely simpler. It's a little too much sometimes with the baseball magic stuff but I still liked it

Good to hear. I enjoyed Olympus. Better than White House Down.

Saw Gods of Egypt the other night. The CGI was about the quality of Battlestar Galactica on the SyFy channel 10 years ago and the movie was about 30 minutes too long. Everything else pretty much sucked too. Except for that one kid's girlfriend. Some really nice titties on that girl. Don't know how they kept them contained through shooting that film.

Field of Dreams is beautiful man, still manages to bring tears to the eyes. That my friend is the best baseball movie and it totally holds up. Also love Sandlot, 61 is fantastic as well. I want to see The Brox is Burning as well (tv series but still).
