Depp will always get a pass from me, because of Fear and Loathing.

Which coincidentally also stars one of the most underrated actors in Benicio Del Toro.

I have a very hard time watching any of his stuff now-a-days. He is too much of an "artist" and I cant stand the pretension.

Hard to argue.

Yet as bear said, Fear and Loathing makes me forget some of his sins.

One of which is Amber Heard.....

Been watching the Rocky series over the course of a few weeks. Still think the first two were the best. Then it went Rocky Balboa and Creed. Three and four both had different things I liked: three had a better story but didn't care about Clubber. Four, I didn't care about the story but I thought that Drago was a much more scary opponent. Five was still the worst by far but not quite as bad as I remembered.

Saw Fantastic 4 last night. I went in with super-low expectations, so I was actually able to not dread my time watching it.

The build up was OK, even if the casting was horrible. But the time jump was a crime against story telling and the final battle was beyond disappointing.

I didn't see it, but I though Thing looked really great compared to the first two movies.

Pure CGI.

There was only a tiny bit interaction between Grimm and the "real world", and it done in a way that really didn't happen at all in a visual sense (don't want to spoil anything), so even that was a net-negative.

Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Better than the typical T.V. to Movie fare, but still rather pointless. It reminded me a lot of the Avengers movie from the '90s. It spent too much time trying to keep the dated feel of the source material that it lost itself.

And it was about a half hour too long.

The Do over.

Still an extremely average movie even by average standards of going in with little expectation.....that said probably the best Sandler crew movie in about a decade

Went more in the R rated direction even if not too vulgar(still lots of F bombs and some
Nudity). This movie also had an actual plot and plot twists. Neither were earth shattering things, but a nice change from the usual we have come to expect.

I actually thought it was one of the better Sandler movies I've seen in a while.

Good acting and a pretty good plot overall.

The Angry Birds movie.

My sons, 6 and 5, wanted to see it. This is the kind of movie you watch because you have kids that are 6 and 5.

My thoughts exactly.
Good acting
Good directing
Good film work

but no fucking point to it at all.
plot was just terrible.

Yup they actually tried to form a plot with twists and included some actual "heart" if you will in the movie. Wasn't just centered on being as dumb as possible.

Spring Breakers. Only good part was watching Ashley Benson in a bathing suit for 90% of the movie.
