Dinwiddie is just hangin' out waiting for the Lakers to re-sign him down the road. It may or may not happen. The Lakers have a lot of young guards that may take his place like Hinson and maybe even Bronny.

Yep, Hinson is on that roster as is Bronny and Traore, who I have read the latter is also a pretty good player.

SL does not matter a ton but Bronny played well last night. Much better than his first game.

3 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 3 blocks and I think he had 2 or 3 steals. Raw on offense but he can play some defense.

Hinson is a forward.

Bronny is going to come along slowly but he'll be on the South Bay roster for sure. Castleton is going to get better because he wanted to come back to play for Redick. I see a team of a lot of young potential good players that the Lakers don't need to be rushing around like the proverbial chicken sans head to find players.

We don't need to be making anymore trades. The Lakers have plenty of players that just may get better. The Lakers may make the playoffs but if they do, they will definitely be a First Round exit.
The change in offensive philosophy could be huge.

We were #8 in 3%, but 24th in 3 point makes and 28th in 3 point attempts.

If we add Trent and shoot more treys (Redick's idea of modernizing the offense) and run the offense through AD the Lakers could surprise. Plus, trade Russell, others and picks for another guy? No guarantee the Lakers are a 1st round exit, especially depending on matchup.

O.K. So SL and SB are two different entities apparently but Hinson is on the SB roster. Hinson was listed as a guard but they must have switched him to small forward. More changes I suppose.

I totally agree. Either this Redick's plan is going to work and be a surprise to alot of people, or it is going to be a complete dumpster fire and Redick will be gone before the season is even half over. Then we will see the Lakers move even more contracts.

The Lakers already have Redick's replacement on his staff. Either it will be McMillan or Brooks as the next HC if Redick's plan crashes and we become cellar-dwellers again.

Wow, it looks as though Scottie Pippen Jr is still around.

"The 14-man roster includes Los Angeles Lakers two-way players Colin Castleton, Alex Fudge and D’Moi Hodge, as well as three returning members from the 2022-23 South Bay team: Bryce Hamilton, Gabe Levin and Scotty Pippen Jr. South Bay’s squad is also headlined by NBA veterans Louis King and Quinndary Weatherspoon, who were both acquired via trade this offseason, as well as Los Angeles Lakers training camp participants Damion Baugh and Vincent Valerio-Bodon."

BTW, there are more 6'8" guards in recent NBA than you would think. Check it out.
