Why is everyone so surprised, Kins isn't known to have a bad approach at the plate

Here's my deal with it Lainey. Kinsler generally makes contact but my issue is he is second only to AJP in the free world in at bats that last two pitches or less. I just would like to see him work the count a little better. Would it mean more walks? Sure. But most importantly, I think if he worked the count a little better, he would get much better pitches to hit which would help him all around at the plate.

Kinsler is one of the better players as far as working counts, no comparison to AJ

Truthfully, I'm fine with Ian just the way he is if he was batting 3rd or 5th or 6th which is where I think he belongs. To me he never has been an ideal leadoff guy.
