Agreed, typically I'm cool with a #5 or 6 hitter being a bit of a free swinger after all they get paid to drive in runs. I'm completely done with AJ, as a veteran, not either understanding or not giving a shit about the game situation. Be a freaking veteran an know when patience and a fly ball or a ball in play is needed or when a pitcher is struggling to throw strikes. That's all I'm asking.

Seems like some of that has rubbed off on younger players at times as well.

Let him mature. Would only trade him for a very controllable stud OF.

Like I said, not sure what the best course of action is, I'd prefer to see him play for the Rangers in a starting role eventually, but bringing him using him in a UTIL/bench role is doing him no favors next year

They should either roll with him, let him play a full year in AAA, or trade him

Schep looked strong on 12 pitches. Do you let him start the 9th?

If we hang on here and don't lose the next 2....I think we'll at least get a play in game with someone... Thanks Minnesota for starting a minor leaguer and giving up 10 runs

If Tampa loses tonight I still say there's a decent chance either Cleveland or Tampa loses one of their final games. However, Texas must sweep to have a chance. Otherwise it won't matter.

Kinsler homer and turn the ninth over to Feliz with a four run lead would be ideal.

If we don't make the playoffs the one good thing is that I don't have to watch Murphy or Moreland hit for us anymore
