JTA's numbers are right ... and $4.5mil per 1.0WAR is actually getting a little dated.

Yeah I've read its changed but I just went with the old conservative number

I trust Fangraphs more than most sites, especially ESPN, Baseball Reference has its uses, but when it comes to saber numbers, Fangraphs all the way

There is a value button for all players. It lists their worth in dollars. If you go to Kinsler's page there will be a value button at the far right.

Gentry has been so big for the Rangers. He is underrated, but not in my heart. I love that dude.

Truthfully, I'm fine with Ian just the way he is if he was batting 3rd or 5th or 6th which is where I think he belongs. To me he never has been an ideal leadoff guy.

If he's not traded he may be moved down next year,

He plays superb defense and is one of the best base runners I've ever seen. He's the perfect platoon player. He will put up great production for what he's asked to do. Every team needs a Craig Gentry.
