The HHOF has a builder's category, eloco. Maybe they should create a destroyer's category for Klown.

I have to say that I have changed my tune about Lindros in the last couple of years, maybe I'm getting soft, but for about 3 years, he was the dominant power forward in the league.

/Put it this way, if Dick Duff can make it into the Hall of Fame, Lindros should be there as well.

Forget the numbers for a minute. I think Lindros should get in because he changed the game. No player before him questioned a team doctors opinion. No player before him really thought about the implications of concussions. Eric Lindros changed the game. This fact, plus his stats tell me he belongs in the Hall of Fame.

Eric Lindros also played very well for Canada on the international stage (dominant at the World Juniors tourney).

And he owned the OHL. His stats there were just ridiculous. Something like 75 goals in 60 games. 150 points.

As a 17 year old.

Yeah, I guess if we're going to rank it, it is nice to see Shero get in ahead of Burns since he's been waiting a lot longer.

Shame still that both had/will have to be posthumous.

Good class though.

Point 1:
(From Shero's wikipedia) Shero was notoriously bad with names. On one occasion it led to him trading for the wrong player. While GM of the Rangers Shero traded for Cam Connor believing it was Colin Campbell. Upon his arrival Conner had to explain that he was a winger and not a defenceman.
