C - Heim/Huff
1B - Lowe/Huff
2B - Semien
3B - Smith
SS - Seager
LF - Duran/Hernandez
CF - Tavares
RF - Garcia
DH - Huff

Who I'd like to see the rest of the year in the starting lineup... barring trades of course

I'd honestly be okay with trading Jung, Foscue, Huff, Garcia, Lowe and some others for the right thing and clear up some 40 man spots for next year

Don't want to see White, Winn, Leiter, Duran or Smith going anywhere though
i really like. am assuming that the 3 open spots on the roster are Miller, Culberson & Calhoun and that Viloria gets sent down. or maybe we unload all 3 of the vets at or before the trade deadline and bring up prospects to fill their spots.

i personally would like to see Bubba, Harris, Crim and Foscue get some time up here before the end of the season

RANGERS -- Jack Leiter, RHP (No. 1/MLB No. 16): Although his first professional season has been a bit rocky, anyone watching Leiter pitch for the first time Saturday wouldn’t have known any better, as the righty tossed a perfect fourth. The inning included a pair of groundouts by Diego Cartaya and Pete Crow-Armstrong and a flyout by Joey Wiemer. Dustin Harris, 1B/3B/OF (No. 7): The AL's starting first baseman, Harris turned in one of the best offensive performances of the day, going 2-for-3 with two singles, an RBI, a walk and a stolen base. The slugger scratched across the first run of the game with his RBI single off Bobby Miller in the first.

I believe we will see him like we expected at some point but until then I take this rah rah stuff with a grain of salt.

Absolutely no sense at all. Play prospects or send them back to AAA
Yep. That is just common sense that everyone should see. Well, almost everyone can, when they are sober and in their right mind.

Well he isn't a great defensive catcher and Woodward isn't gonna play him at 1st over Heim (this is where he should play, to see if he can be a big league 1B) and Chris is dead set on playing guys like Calhoun or Miller at DH instead of one of Huff or Heim while the other is at 1B. Might as well let him kill it at RR and then trade him, if that is their plan.

And here we go with the walks....this is an issue with these younger pitchers. Cant walk a batter an inning and strike out fewer

In December of 2002 the Ranger traded Travis Hafner and Aaron Myette for Einar Diaz and Ryan Dreese. I wonder if history repeats itself over the coming days, weeks, and months. Let's hope not.

we're all in our right minds so we see that the FO isn't going to agree to putting their multi-million-dollar signings sitting on the bench. doing that would probably get Woody fired faster than anything else.
