lol.So, you think being a poor man's Andy Dalton is success? Interesting...
Now this is butthurt^^^
Haskins went when he was supposed to, where he was supposed to.

I like the Kingsbury hire. Always did. He know offense and it's an offensive league.
Butthurt? I never mentioned Haskins. I do wish the Bengals drafted him, because I think he'd be an upgrade over Dalton (probably not initially). That has no bearing on my feelings about Murray though. I've stated multiple times that I think Rosen will have a better career than Murray.lol.

Why? Instead of simply going with the herd, show me a list of all the shorter QB's that were given a chance to start in the NFL who never panned out.
It would definitely be a short list... no pun intended.
And, they will be running Kingsbury's air raid offense which is predicated on getting the ball out quickly with a freakishly mobile QB.
Sure. If that was the basis of my opinion you would be right. Kyler isnt a full back with five gallons of heart that can throw a little. Neither did Kyler have the benefit of that badass defense.
Kyler is a pure passer with all of the throws. He also can run. Well.
One intangible that Kyler shares with Tebow is that he can put an entire team on his back and raise it to another level.
Once again, Im not butthurt. I just honestly disagree with the premise of the OP for the above reasons. Size is just a number. Skills are what count.
The one year he was actually given a chance to start, he led a below average team that started the season 1-4 to the playoffs. Not to shabby for a guy a lot of people say could never play QB in the NFL.
Go Broncos!
You sure about that? Did he know this when he was coaching Tech? And, they will be running Kingsbury's air raid offense which is predicated on getting the ball out quickly with a freakishly mobile QB.
.
I know you hope it goes horribly bad. As you said, we shall see....and had a losing record in six years at Texas Tech. College is where this offense supposedly works, yet not so much with him at the helm. This reeks of a worse situation than Chip Kelly IMO, but we shall see.
Show me the list. Not as short of a list as those who have succeeded in the NFL...
Show me an example of a 5'10" guy who has tried it in the NFL or any other qb 6' or under for that matter.Russell Wilson's success has come by holding on to the ball. This other way has never successfully been done by a 5'10 guy.
Yes. I am positive. He is freakishly mobile. You sure about that? Did he know this when he was coaching Tech?
Probably could have helped him keep his job, if so.
I'm just saying it hasn't been done.Show me an example of a 5'10" guy who has tried it in the NFL or any other qb 6' or under for that matter.
Yep...heck, maybe I'm just a little risk averse, but I'm not the kind of person to bet big on someone becoming the "first ever" in something.I'm just saying it hasn't been done.
Maybe he's the best 5'10 dude ever.
Most would have played baseball in the past.
Who said his system needs freakishly mobile QB's?I'm just curious to know why most of Tech's QBs were more pro-style when Kliff's offense needs freakishly mobile QBs.
It may not work. Only time will tell.I'm just saying it hasn't been done.
Maybe he's the best 5'10 dude ever.
