He managed to go 16-21 with Mahomes there.

His best year was his first year when he wasn’t using his players. Tech got worse and worse basically every year he was at the helm.

Yup, and that's why they ran him out of town. And an NFL team scooped him up. :L

I enjoy watching football, but I'm not nearly invested in it enough to really care one way or the other how it turns out. If the guy turns out to be great/good enough to have made the trade worth it, then good for him and Cardinals fans. If he turns out to suck/not be anywhere near worth the trade in the end, then oh well - the Cardinals would just go back to/resume their status quo of major suckage aside from a few years of Kurt Warner they had sprinkled in there 10+ years ago. Either way works for me.

I will admit that I'd get an extra chuckle out of it if he turns out to be a bum in the NFL just knowing that the simple act of making this thread got a few members of this board so butt sore, though lol

I saw a Cards preseason game on NFL network, can't recall who they were playing.

Murray looked like a 13 year old behind centre.

Time will tell.

Not sure what Murray is going to do, but looks like a bad head coaching hire. The odds of a failed head coach succeeding in the NFL are slim

Yes. Flute was one example. He had a decent career. He had nowhere near the physical attributes Murray has.

Better arm, better accuracy, better speed. He is just an all around better athlete. Hopefully it translates in the NFL.

Yea, a some of us are really butt sore over your epic thread. :L

I guess it could be worse. Imagine having a top defense, offensive weapons all over the place, spending 28 mil per year on a free agent QB and missing the playoffs.

Drafting a QB isn't a sure thing. Some can play from day one while others need time to develop and some never pan out.

The Cardinals dropped the ball with that hire in my opinion.

Not as blurry as it looks

We'll see. It could be interesting to watch and that's what it's all about.

Funny, that's the play he is know for and it was really all luck.

Well, maybe, but that he was in a position to win that game at the end with a Hail Mary had nothing to do with luck.
