It did have ot....
Saw that they went down 17-0 early and last I had checked before the final score, they were down 10 with still a few minutes left to play in the first half. Well, that'll knock them into the NIT if they want to or its still being played. That win against Alabama earlier in the season I don't think will mean much since they're not in a major conference and will get overlooked for a bunch of P5 schools.

Hurt is 38th among NBA prospect player rankings. Pretty sure he gets drafted if he enters the draft.
cbb sucks if guys that are ranked #38 are leaving early

i get it, but it sucks for CBB

I’m fearful that Balsa Kopravica might leave after demonstrating strong skills and functional athleticism as a pure C. Scottie Barnes is almost a certainty to leave, even though he shot the ball like shit.

I don't like it either. And if this season tells us anything it would say don't count on anyone staying if they can go or everybody gets it and actually stays for the Covid eligibility gift. Who knows. I'd hate to have a career depending upon the decisions of 17-19 year olds. That would absolutely suck.

I'm surprised Huff is ranked 31. Granted, I haven't really been able to watch a lot of basketball this season so maybe he's improved quite a bit since I last saw him but the guy never stood out to me as a guy that would've been much more than a guy that goes into a developmental league or Europe.

I'm surprised that 7 teams from the ACC made the NCAA Tournament. Actually it will probably end up being 8 teams since Louisville will be on standby to fill in for another team that will have covid issues.

He was ranked like 57th as a 4-star. He was offered by East Carolina, UNC Greensboro, James Madison, and UNC Asheville along with Virginia. He is from Durham and made an unofficial visit to Duke. Assistant Coach Nate James was in charge of his recruitment but Duke never offered. That tells me Duke was all in on the OAD at that point and wasn't into wasting time developing talent like they should have been. Not making the tournament in the future was probably not on anyone's mind at that point.

I always felt like Roy Williams had the right idea for awhile. Get a couple of non top 15 five stars that could stay 2/3 years and develop a title contending team.

Yeah Roy certainly has a system and it’s been successful for him....up until last season. And just like Duke, although K still had a winning season, The heels fell short. Both are HOF coaches. Who’s to say one’s approach is better than the other before it evolves into a pissing contest?

It's no pissing contest for me because all you've got to do is look at the records. I'm just wondering if they will both be shaking hands one of these days after a game when they are both over 100 years old.

Roy tried to get the OADs, but for a long period of time they gave him the cold shoulder

Roy tried as hard as anyone to land Giles/Tatum back in 2016. The UNC brand is so strong that Roy was able to land non-OADs 5* and high-4s, even though they were his second options.

I don't think it's ever happened before. Not since the tournament started seeding teams.

Seven of the elite eight teams hail from west of the Mississippi River!

I guess the committee got it right by seeding ACC teams so low.

FSU JR F RaiQuan Gray just declared for the draft.
He’s definitely got game but I don’t see him as an NBA player.
