I'm hoping that the 6 years they offered Hurley means they're going to offer a longer term deal.

I'm at the point where I may actually care less about who they hire than the length of the contract.

If you believe in the hire then support the hire. Part of the way you do that is to give him a contract that gives him time to establish some sort of culture and lets the players know he's going to be around a while...they're going to need that when Lebron is gone.
