Someone is going to trade for Zion relatively cheaply and turn him around. He needs a real veteran leader on the roster and a coach that he respects to get the BS out of his lifestyle. Trim the fat (literally and figuratively) and boost the 3 pt shooting a bit. Is he reachable though?
Not seeing it, 6 years or whatever it is speaks volumes

You don't think Maxey, McCain, and Grimes is a good enough guard rotation? I think the 76ers need a PF more than a guard and I think Ace will fit nicely.
Ace looks like the parts rather than the sum of them. How dedicated is he to being the best he can be? There's a lot of outcomes with him that aren't an elite game changing player.

Harper is way more built as a player. I'd figure out the guard problem later. McCain could be 6-man scoring off the bench. And Grimes is a rotational player. Gives us good depth, but I'm not passing on any top guards because of him.

Oh, sure, I think Harper is the better player. And that is what you want when you are rebuilding. But if you are trying to make a run at the Championship in the short term you need to address your team's weakness and that is not at guard for the 76ers. So, unless you are going to trade one of your other guards for a PF that is better than Ace I think he is the guy you target at 3 (and Harper won't drop to three).

If Harper is better than McCain, then we'll have a better chance winning with Harper playing those minutes. On defense Harper could guard the opposing SF when all 3 are on the floor.

To your point about the short term Ace is on a longer timeline.

when next season starts the Cavs will be the favorites in Vegas to come out of the East

the Lakers will be favorites to get the most undeserved media coverage.

what would help LeBron and his legacy more?

an extra 50 million- or a real chance to actually add to his title collection? - something he has no chance of in LA
No chance? They get a legit C and a few players for the bench....they will be in the mix for a title. Like a lot of talking heads have mentioned.

JJ made a boneheaded decision in the playoffs to start his 2nd half lineup for the entire 24 minutes.

But you still wouldn't have a PF that really fits with this team if you took Harper (who still won't be around at 3, so it's moot really).

Ace is only on the longer timeline as a creator off the dibble. He is a good outside shooter and can be a pestering disruptive defender and at this point that is all the Sixers should need out of him.

Ace is really thin to be playing meaningful minutes down low on a contender.

5 years, 3 of which were very limited due to injuries. 214 games total, or about 3 years worth of game experience. He needs out of New Orleans.

Because injuries are more likely in New Orleans? :noidea:
No doubt he's a great talent, but NOLA is going to have to give up a lot to get rid of him since he's got a vast record of not being able to stay on the floor.
